In 15-20 years you won’t remember Real Madrid defending like this against City in a QF. Instead you’ll remember them going on to potentially win their 15th Champions League title. If you want to pay money to watch your team pointlessly dominate the ball and not come away with the win, that’s up to you. It says more about City than Madrid. City should have played more directly in both legs and City players should have played more like Doku. Too many diagonal passes. Madrid's most of CL wins in the past are undeserving, and I can't say the same thing for other clubs. I personally enjoy small teams defending like the 2004 Greece national team but imagine that Greece national team happen to appear on every World or European cup.
