To the bunch of simpletons mindlessly crying about 115 charges (most of them without even knowing what they are), here's a refresher:- 🏆6 Premier League 🏆 1 Club World Cup 🏆 4 Carabao Cup 🏆 1 UEFA Super Cup 🏆 1 UEFA Champions League (+ 1x Finalists) 🏆 1 FIFA Club World Cup 🏆 2 FA Cup (with another one expected in a few days) 🏆 2 FA Community Shield ...all in the span of last 7 years. Now take all the gold from the Bank of England and try reproducing the same feat with any of the clubs from the current roster and we'll talk again. Man City anyway ranks 6th in the list of EPL clubs with highest "NET SPEND" in the last 5 years. Most importantly: innocent until proven guilty. But let's say even if we're convicted with any of those charges, it won't mean that all these achievements have been for nothing. And it'll certainly not diminish the fact one bit, that Pep Guardiola dominated England like no other manager in history in such a short span of time, both via the impressive stats and through the intangible impact he has had on the league in terms his playing style and psychology. Guilty or not, if you deny what's evident, you're simply deluded.

@@user-sd3hb6ru1w tl;dr: it'd be better to do some research before passing such naïve sweeping statements. Okay, so City is run by oil money and the rest of the clubs are run by selling bottled water and lemonades, right? Lmao. No one's putting their blood and sweat worth of earnings to run any of these clubs. No club is running on charity money. It's called strategic investment, a common activity among capitalistic enterprises. I'm explaining this because many folks like you explicitly mention "oil money" like it's some kind of blood money! Btw, it's the same oil that goes into your home heating system and your cars, which your govt. pays for with your own tax money. I agree that we may be better endowed compared to some other clubs but that is neither a guarantee for success, nor it is everything that you need to make progress. City couldn’t sign Harry Kane despite placing a lucrative bid. Similarly, players like Mbappe wouldn’t go to Saudi just because they’re offered mind-boggling compensation. If money was “THE MAGIC INGREDIENT”, Chelsea, who have been on a spending spree since the new takeover should've been able to turn around their fortunes by now....or that Aston Villa, who've had their reigns taken over by the Egyptian and American billionaire duo 7 years ago, should've seen the light of at least one silverware by now...or that Sheffield Utd, whose heir is a Saudi royal family member with immense fortunes, should've made some mark in English football by now (not to forget they got relegated by placing last this season). Sure, sound finances makes thing smoother, but in addition to it, a lot of things have to go right for a club to get consistent stellar results like City: - great coach, driven players, owners who actually give a shite about the affairs of the club and have regular interactions with top management (unlike the Glazers who just milked Man Utd. like a cash cow to pay off their debts), overall atmosphere of winning mentality in the club, clever scouting etc. (I could go on) If you have a problem with the "Arab" part in Man City's finances, then let me remind you that apart from the ownership examples (add Newcastle to that) I've given above, Emirates has been a long time sponsor for Arsenal's home ground and their kits, and for the prestigious FA Cup. This is just England. Rest of Europe has a lot of Arab involvement in football. I'm certainly not an Arab fanboy but it's the new normal, and I'm not complaining! The truth is, you wouldn't be complaining either if it was your club. The hypocrisy is unreal!! In fact, you wouldn't be bemoaning all this had City not won so many titles over the years. It’s funny that if we don't get the results, then the armchair experts say things like - "the players are substandard or overhyped/ team had no motivation/ the manager is to be blamed for faulty tactics...." But if we win trophies, then it's just - "ah the 115 F.C/ oil money club”. Pure jealousy! Now coming to the magic number 115. No one knows on the outside how many of those breaches are legit and if they are, then what will be the fate of City IF there is conviction for some or all of those charges. Only time will tell. So, those passing verdict before it has been given by the court are doing nothing but covering up for their own club’s shortcomings. Or perhaps it has just become the perfect outlet of personal hate for this club. But I can tell you one thing right now. IF City are found guilty of those charges, surely, it’ll somewhat sour the legacy we’ve built especially under the Guardiola era (interestingly, most of the charges predate his time but unfortunately he'll be the public face for the club if it happens during his tenure). But it’ll not change one bit, the fact that Man City had a winning appetite for so long like no other, or that we have and have had well-groomed players for every requirement at our disposal: from creative players to mad-lads to clutch players who are a pleasure to watch every time they play, or the fact that we’ve developed our squad so deep that some of our reserve players can rival the first team in many other clubs, churning out talents from the home academy the likes of Phil Foden, Cole Palmer and Rico Lewis; our brilliant transfer window management, the tactical genius of Pep, the fact that many players have turned world class under his management (KDB, Mahrez, Foden, Gundogen, Sterling, Walker to name a few). He won't admit to any of his contributions publicly but that's him. These things can’t be dismissed at the drop of a hat even if the club is convicted. 115 clauses do not play the game on field, it’s the 11 skilled and trained bodies that do the job. Today, many clubs aspire to emulate City’s playing style. Pep Guardiola has popularised high press format, playing false 9s and inverted fullbacks. You can hate him and his team but you can’t ignore them. He has never resorted to cheap tactics like “parking the bus” even when push came to shove. People also accuse Man City of turning EPL into a farmer’s league. I’d have laughed but it’s just non-sensical. Although, I take this statement as a compliment but at least you’ve got to know the meaning. The fact that 4 PL clubs have a net spend greater than us and the fact that we had to fight tooth and nail with teams like Arsenal and Liverpool to win the league speaks for itself. People say that we’ve made the league boring by winning it again and again. I ask, why was this allegation not levelled when Sir Alex was winning three in a row with Utd. (which he did twice)? I believe the Premier League had some class back then. At least, the clubs were focussed on bettering themselves and trying to win trophies against all odds, unlike the managers of today finding excuse and begging other teams to do their job for them by defeating their competition, or the fans getting happy being on the losing side just because their rival’s prospects are taking a hit as collateral. But it’s really not our problem if you think your club is broke or couldn't get the players or managers they wanted. You casually proclaimed that City will be a "nothing club" once our current owners leave us. What makes you think your club would be impervious to such a change if it happens for the worse? Get off your high horse, pal. Plus, our foundations are stronger than before. Nothing wrong, if our finances have supported us in getting there. Any club would do it given a chance. If you really want true level playing field to prevail, you should be campaigning to get the spending cap removed as a proportion of the club's revenue and instead get it fixed to an absolute number. Protesting to the governing body to get this Premier League regulation modified might do you better than lamenting about the money in Man City's vault on KZread. I for one would welcome it. And as far as history or progression of a club is concerned, you are witnessing one being made. You rightly stated, dynasties don’t last forever. I never implied otherwise. Other clubs may have had many years of glory in the past unlike us but it is City's era now. You need to come unstuck from your glorious past (if your club had any). What matters is where you are headed and what you're doing now for the same. And yes, we’re very much enjoying our moment in the sun right now but you don’t have to cry rain every chance you get while we’re at it. I don’t know which club you support and frankly, it doesn’t matter. You don’t even have to be impressed with our feat (although it really is impressive); just know when you’re beaten :) P.S: I just realised that for a club said to have plastic fans, I put up way too much defence 😂

And before you say, “why get involved then?”, it’s because I have as much right to my opinion as you. However, in the spirit of reconciliation, your original post that prompted my response was nowhere near as articulate as your lengthy follow up. That post made perfect sense. If Son scored that 100% chance this video would never exist. How one split second can change timeline completely. But according to quantum theory Son was in that moment in so called SUPERPOSITION, that means he is both scoring and missing that chance. In other words, Schrodinger cat (Arsenal) is BOTH dead and alive in that moment. And that another timeline exist, where Son scored. Its mind boggling actually when you delve deeper in that rabbit hole.. everything is questionable at that point.. life, time, meaning, EVERYTHING…
