People with TVs in their living room are FLIPPING OUT over this genius idea!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Looking to upgrade your TV? Discover this trio of DIY projects from our Hometalkers. Each step-by-step tutorial demonstrates something different.
First, Mitch shows us how to make a TV stand out of crates, which still matches his decor. Next, it's an update to an existing TV stand that's too small, so a new tabletop is added. Finally, learn how to make a frame for your TV, which disguises your television as wall art!
What do you think of these DIY projects? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

he said go to Michael's. You aren't getting a crate that size for $1. Even at any dollar store it won't be $1 for that size.

Spend a little extra time and make your own crates, or just build the stand without crates and ad alot of 1 x pine boards instead. You will still have the same stand and keep your costs down. Helps alot if you have a tablesaw or a track saw and a brad nailer, but always use wood glue also. I know alot of people can't afford a good tablesaw or have a place to keep one though. They do also make portable jobsite tablesaws that fold up for easier storage.
