The first was the best one. Dude narrating it reminded me of Bob Ross. I was ready to paint some happy trees.
The first one was awesome! The third one, 😠😢 I wish people would stop tearing apart and destroying vintage or antique furniture instead of restoring it to its former glory.

Yes! For the age, that beautiful dresser was in wonderful condition. I can't believe she was going to throw it out. Nor can I believe she butchered it.

They are a disposable generation. They don't care about history any longer.
AAAAMMMMMAAAZINNG!!😀💕🎉🎉👍👍 I really like ALL of these, except the orange fabric cooler.....😶
The first one was pretty good. It's a good thing the cooler can be removed to empty and clean as needed. The bottle cap holder needs a slide out bottom for emptying the caps into a bag. Or you could put a bag in there in the first place but clip it in place so it doesn't fall in. Otherwise it was an awesome idea.

It would be easiest if the cap catcher is wide enough and shallow enough so that you can reach in with your hand and pull out the caps. Otherwise, a magnet can pull out the bottle caps. (I haven't drunk from a bottle with a cap in years.) Other things: Even cedar fencing needs to be treated to avoid decay. He used Titebond Premium Wood Glue (1:04), which is waterproof, but not all wood glues are suitable for projects that get wet, so choose your glue carefully. Personally, I don't have space for a permanent cooler stand that I would rarely use, but that's just me.
That first idea was really cool. What a great idea to have something for a party. And people don't have to bed down to get a drink and I love how you put that area to catch the bottle caps.

It's cheaper to use the first video idea with the second video item.
Loved the dresser hack the best!!!!!!
clear enunciation - concise details - narrator is on point ...
The first DIY was pretty good! Especially if your house is the spot where everyone goes to have barbeques! The last dresser into a bar revamp was really nice too!❤

Only problem was putting the hoes all the way thru the lid as that would melt the ice faster.
I LOVE the first one. His voice is always so soothing.

I really enjoyed this video.
Cool ideas 💡! I really liked the first and last one! The middle one needed to be better thought out. Like adding a cushion or something. Blessings and Peace ❤️✝️
The Bob Ross of DIY. Great vid!
Loved the first one!
I like the way he uses his Mr. Rogers voice. So calm and soft.

Happy little cooler...😂
That Man is the Bob Ross of wood working💖
3 things about making the first cooler. It looks great, but be sure to use *waterproof* wood glue and apply an all- weather sealer to the wood. Finally, how are you supposed to remove the bottle caps from that narrow cap catcher? 🤔 I'd probably make a removable receptacle to hang below the bottle opener or just flatten one side of a small tin bucket to hang flush against the cooler case under the opener.😁
The first one gave me so much life. Cannot WAIT to try it myself.. or get my son to 😍 But that last one straight deleted me. & in such a horrific way too 😢 Edited: Thank you for the coaster ride. Stay Blessed
Love the first cooler “Hack” really beautiful and useful I did not like the other two.
Thank you so much for this video! Three very cute & fresh ideas that I don't think that I've seen before. I have to say that the "Christmas in March" video a few days ago had me wondering why I watched this channel? Now I remember. It's because of the good craft ideas. So, thanks again for the content & to the crafters for their ideas & great work! 👍
I've got a better use if you have a backyard. I've been using various coolers just like that as a fireproof, burglarproof safe for valuables you would store in an expensive safe. I bury them in a nice garden setting with the top at ground level. Put a paving/flagstone type over the spot. Been doing this for decades.

I'm sorry what was your address again?
I just love the first guys voice and presentation, and yes that cooler was cool👍🏽
Nice. So to get the water out you have to lift the whole cooler out to dump it. Or did you make an opening for the coolers drain plug but didn't show it in the video?
Did you notice that the cooler lid fits the base upside down? Makes a great serving tray,Subbed😎👍
Love the cooler first cooler video. I agree with others that the same type of cooler used in the first video would work as well for the video of the ottoman & provide much support, but what an awesome way to reuse a styrofoam cooler that probably be taking up space in a landfill somewhere. Saw some of the comments & wanted to mention that I have watched the DIYer in the first video on several other projects & he is very thorough so I am sure he left an opening for the drain spout & also a way to remove bottle caps from container easily. Only so much time can be allotted to DIY projects shown on HT, so I’m sure he had to keep most info specific to the cooler housing build info. Wanted to ask if anyone happens to know his name or if he has his own channel I could look up? Really like his attention to detail on instructions. TIA
I'm lov'n you guys adding tutorials to these videos... thanks for listening to us; it just makes 4 awesome content!
I'm flipping out trying to count the number of self-designated geniuses KZread seems to produce.
All great ideas! I especially love the first one.
Love this cooler stand. Turned out great
The ottoman cooler needed the excess fabric cut away from where the lid fits. You could adhere tape trim to cover the edges & not interfer w the lid closing. The suggestion of adding some foam or pillow on top is a good one. The only problem I see w using this for an actual cooler vs a storage ottoman is pouring the water out & getting the fabric wet & nasty.
Best idea I’ve seen yet!!! Great job!!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😃😊👍🏽
Wow! That is genius! So cool.
Love the first idea a lot but using the second video ice box. Great idea.
These are all so creative!!!
Love the coolers hacks💚👍💚
I really liked this. I’m going to do this!!!❤
Cool ideas👍🏼
First one was very dope
You can beef up an old cooler by drilling holes around the top rim and then spray in some expanding foam. They don’t use a lot of foam from the factory.
(Respectfully) The first guy sounds like the Bob Ross of carpentry. . RIP Bob Ross.
The first cooler idea was cool
It’s like a building Bob Ross! 😂 👌🏽
I like your Bob Ross narrating cool idea.
It seems the first one would be hard to remove when even partially filled with melted water. The cost for components another -factor

Very creative!
Like the first one w/a couple of additions: The catch for the bottle lid should have a removable cup inside that can be lifted out and dumped. The finished cooler needs some wheels.
This freakin genius!!!!!!!
Your voice and cadence makes you sound like Mr. Rogers and the Painter Bob Ross! Pardon the pun but that's a Cool Idea!!
That was well done .
My man is like if Bob Ross and Bob Villa had a child….of coolers.
For some reason the way you’re talking reminds me of Bob Ross😂 after all you are creating art.
What a fantastic idea! Now where is that old cooler .
Thanks so much
Useful projects & ideas. The middle project was a bit rough in execution. And I wonder about it's comfort. Even rigid foam can be rough on the heels & ankles after a bit. And orange?
FABULOUS.
I loved the first guys project, I have at least twelve cooler boxes at home with about three with broken hinges on the lids, guess what I am going to do?
Yeah these are pretty cool I built one a few years ago for our pool parties
Thanks nice job god bless
What about the drain ????

@lorieburtt592
Жыл бұрын
@@brianh6272 But the handles are shown as being down after it’s in the box. If they remained up, to be able to use them to remove and empty the cooler, the new top would not be able to close. It’s cute, but it’s not practical. Also, the styrofoam cooler is going to be demolished the first time someone plops some heavy feet on it, or if someone thinks that it’s an actual piece of furniture and sits on it! It would have been better to construct a wood box to encase an inexpensive styrofoam cooler, making it sturdier.
I’m flipping out over this genius cooler hack!
Awesome! how long were legs on cooler
Sounds like Bob Ross giving cooler hack tricks.
How do you get the bottle caps out of the little catcher? Shoulda made the bottom of it openable to remove them.
That beat tho!🎶🔥
Sooooooo Smart. ♥
Side shelves would be a nice addition
Great voice! Well done
Idk about genius hack, I've been building wooden ice chest for like 15 years, but thanks for the compliment.
Phkn Amazing ma G !!!! Am havn fam over from c. amerika. And i will follow yo video to build one !!! Phkn amaxing ma G !! ✨👍
Pretty cool
LOL this hack is as old as the hills heh its been done and talked about around the campfire for years. But only new on social media👍👍👍
How do you pull out the cooler to wash or drain it?
Awesome
I think I'd have used superstrong Velcro on the first one to secure the lid to the wood. I could then still use the cooler for mobile trips to local campgrounds. Nice otherwise.
What kind of stapler is that?
COOL!!!
Good job. One thought, make something to attach to the drain so you can drain out the water without having to remove the cooler.
Fill it with foam?
Filling the insulating hollow areas with foam/anything has the opposite effect. The hollow area is designed to creat a chilled area around the cooler space so the ambient doesnt draw the chill out of the inside. When u fill that area it acts as a heated/warm blanket sucking the coolness out even faster. Depends on the outside temp i guess
@HorsesHoof
10 ай бұрын
Is that so? I filled my lid with half a cup of salt and 2 thirds of water and freeze the lid before reattaching when needed and I use 3 x 2"dia pipes with caps 50/50 water with half a cup of salt and frozen to go in the bottom with some stainless mesh on top to make a false bottom
I think they should have used the foam cooler for the first project and the poly- container for a seat or stool. The poly body would be stronger to take the weight. Otherwise, good.

P.S. how do you clean the fabric covered on? It might be easier to elasticate the outer edge of the lid piece and the same for the bottom piece. They can just be pulled on and off quickly and be thrown in the laundry!
Cool 😎
Cool
This was...pretty cool >;J
The first one was cool only thing that would of been cool is some trap door beneath the bottle cap catcher to empty it when it got full
V cool !
Cool idea but maybe a hole for the drain access.
How are you going to get those bottle caps out ?
Seems a bit tight to get to the actual cooler handles
Have fun draining the water from the cooler 😜
Nice
pro tip ---- when gluing the fabric to the cooler, Spray BOTH the fabric AND the cooler! wait until it tacks up, the stick them together,,, you won't need pins that way
I’m looking for some kind of sink to go into minivan. Fresh water on one side and other side grey water. Thank you
Looks like the drain was blocked on the first one. That would be a problem
Add a little hinged flap where the cooler drain is on the 1st one if it has one so you can reduce the weight for removal 7/or make room for more ice...
Always remember two at a time
Nah I need a drink faster than this
Thank you, Genius
First cooler cover was great, second one, not so much
With the first build, I feel like I am back in second grade and the teacher is explaining how to DIY this cooler....
Nice👍🇺🇸✌️
