Ed would've loved those Defendants based on his assumed persuasion. The perennial bachelor that he was.

Yep Harvey Levin stayed on until the end. Doug Llewelyn came back in 2019 until the end. Before that it was Curt who also did what Doug did when Judge Wapner was on the bench.

Wow Ms Hedda Lettuce is so glamorous and reminds me of Ms. Vida from Too wong foo movie 😅

You're absolutely right with the Vida comment! It's true, Hedda had a very different aesthetic back then. I definitely prefer the red hair with orange accents over the green she's been wearing for years now (as if anybody wouldn't catch the joke in her name). I have to say she's more reminiscent of Charles Busch in her vocal delivery, though.

A great relic of NYC in the 1990s. I love how Mayor "How 'em I doin'" Koch calls the defendant "Ms. Lettuce." Classic.

@@larryleventhal4833well, Koch _was_ allegedly fond of the men. If that's true, he likely understood how to respectfully treat a drag queen. Then again, if he'd _failed_ to address a drag queen respectfully, he likely would have known the consequences could be dire.😅

You know what's really fascinating and still a little sad about this clip? Even though back then the LGBTQ community was nowhere near the acceptance we enjoy today, Koch and the plaintiff were still more polite than half the country is right now in how they used "she" when referring to Hedda. We really have started going backwards in terms of progress.

Well so they tried this a long time ago the satire type of stuff and it didn't work well and now they're doing it again. This is the fall of society. It's embarrassing and of course there was a malfunction to the polling of the viewers.... Embarrassing.

It's no fun to watch a court case that supposed to be a real court case and have it be scripted and people acting out it should be a real case with real people not people just acting they had a good run recently and then they went back to this sort of satire stuff again just recently many people are complaining about it not just me I don't know if you're a People's Court fan but I am and I've been watching every single episode for years for decades and from now and then they do this satire type of stuff and they test it out and it never does well
