I used to think unschooling was irresponsible... until I learned more about it! Now I do it almost exclusively! We are currently studying about music: how musical instruments are made, how they make sound, composers, key signatures, and basic theory. We focus on one of these areas every day, but only one. Usually they want to do more than one area, but sticking with just one makes them really excited for the next day. My kids love music so it was an easy choice for us to learn more about it.
