    It's not as copium as you think. The Warriors were kind of on the way early season to getting on a run, then Wiggins got injured. The road wins didn't come and I think it really sunk the wound in from the preseason punch. They were sick against the Lakers. Make no mistake, most of their team was sick in that series. Looney played basically no minutes, the rotation was garbage. There was no bench. Moody played great, with Poole gone Kuminga can finally be more of a focus. I'm ecstatic Poole is gone. The time I realized he was hopeless in the warriors was that one 21 pt. 12 assist game he had, he made great decisions, didn't force anything. They asked him postgame about what he did differently and he said "absolutely nothing. I played today the way I always play" like he didn't want to admit that he finally made good decisions, OR he genuinely doesn't see the difference which is just depressing basketball IQ.

And the guy is right, he’s only going to play a max of 20-25 minutes compared to 35-40 minutes he’s used to playing. He’ll be even better then in any other team. Just watch. And I’m a bulls fan.

    With cp3 you get less TO which was also a main culprit last season. Slows down the pace (which is not a warriors style) helps rests the players then run a motion offense again when steph is on court. The missing piece here would be a center that could defend and somehow stretch the floor like lopez or turner if they able to get that watch out another championship is coming.

    That is a fantastic analysis of this trade. Steph and the core run one of the fastest paces in the NBA. I think with having CP3 slowing it down, not only do players get a little reprieve but it’ll also throw other teams off by having two offenses.

    Warriors fans and media underestimate the CP3 trade. Think about how well Ty Jerome played in spurts and how effective he was when needed? Now, multiply that by 100 and you have CP3. With no Poole in the game, Kuminga and Moody can be fed. Moody was the scoring champ of summer league LY. Kuminga improves and adds to his game every season. CP3 will be a coach on the floor for them the same way Draymond was when he played more with the 2nd unit.

    It's not that hard to understand. The Warriors offense stagnated when Curry was on the bench. They got Paul to have someone run the offense when Curry is resting.

  • @vibhusharma7106
    @vibhusharma710611 ай бұрын

    I genuinely believe this is a good trade. Last season one of the biggest problem we had was when curry is on the bench the whole momentum disrupts. I believe Having a CP3 coming off the bench could turn into same as when shaun livingston used to come off the bench. Shaun livingston was a huge help during those championships run. He was veteran, consistent scorer, playmaker & good defender. And CP3 can do the same! Last year every time steph was on bench, JP ran the second unit but he was defensive liability and his shooting slump and lack of experience to lead end up putting more pressure on the starters. CP3 is a veteran and a great playmaker with good defensive skills which could help warriors big time when steph is on the bench. Yes.. I heard a lot of ppl saying that CP3 is old and injury prone but if he’s coming off the bench and give us good 18-25 mins that’s good enough! On top of that having CP3 playing as PG allows steph and Klay to play off ball SG.. imagine if you have 2 greatest SG with over 40% from 3pt line accuracy and 2 forwards with great defensive ability and ability to shoot in 4th quarter.. that’s a deadly combination. All in all I think CP3 is a good addition!

    This just reminds me of Lowry at Heat. Obviously Chris Paul is historically and currently a better player than Lowry, but it’s a similar situation. I can imagine him being helpful, but ultimately the rest of the bench and depth needs to be good. Like how surprisingly good the goons at Miami were these playoffs And judging by the very starting 5 stats you showed us, well the bench depth must be absolute asscheeks. By far the best starting 5 but scrapping around to get into playoffs spot, and bumped in second round. I don’t think CP3 for Poole alone fixes that. It’s an improvement but Klay and Draymond are getting older every season ofc

    AS LONG AS we can still trade for size in Lauri or heck even DeAndre Ayton, I am with you! I believe if we can just get a 7 footer to allow Looney a break, we can make one final push for a championship The Chris Paul trade will come back to bite us years from now (I've accepted that we will suck once the Big 3 retire because of the new salary cap rule) But given he stays healthy his basketball IQ can LEAD our bench to at the worst case scenario, not blowing a big lead the moment Steph goes to sit down DUB NATION, let's go push Steph Curry into the top 5 as the greatest PG of all time and save CP3's career!

    TJD is that Looney's backup tbh,very similar in terms of comp, and more athletic. Just think about this, Kuminga could take on a role similar to young BG, TJD the short DAJ, then we recreated the lob city on our second unit with Chris Paul😅

They traded a liable player for, although another injury prone player, playing him as 6th man is going to help a ton. He'll be a great second unit for the team, can shoot, and tries atleast on defense.

    I've always said that the warriors needed a real point guard for second team. Not a Nico not all this other crap they have been pulling. It worked against the warriors to not. It means they have to over play curry and what not. It wasn't smart this whole time. Poole was never a point guard he doesn't make smart plays he makes selfish ones which is fine when he's a third option not when he's the "head of the snake" and protecting the lead as a 6 man running second team. But this probably won't fix the defensive problem they have. A lot of times warriors first team and blow people out when they put it in fast gear. But what happen is the lead isn't protected tons of turn overs in season team. Poor D. this might fix the turn over but won't fix the D. I'm not mad at it but at the same time this doesn't feel all that cost effective either.

    I said this on another video but CP3’s role will be to lead the second unit, and to fill in for draymond when hes off the court. Leading the second unit is a no brainer, kuminga and moody both eat. Him coming on for draymond will also be a great move. CP3 at the 1, steph at 2, klay 3, wiggs 4 and a filler C or lengthy wing. CP can dime and dish to steph and klay to get shots and pass to a cutting wiggins. It works.

    Another reason I believe CP3 will work on our team is because if you look at our pace compared to when Poole was off and on the court, with him on we played at a 102.0 pace compared to a 100.2 pace when he was off the court meaning we played a lot more hectic and chaotic when Poole was in the game and when he wasn’t we were more patient and focused and there’s no better player in the Nba at doing that than Chris Paul

    Two of my favorite point guards in same team, best passer and best shooter in NBA...maybe ever. That's a dream come true to me. But will it work, thats a different story. But as i played as undersized point guard in school in the 90s and compensated it by being a good passer and shooting threes at time it wasn't same way appreciated, I obviously love Steph and Chris Paul. Other for making 3 pointer valued and other for playing pg as it should be played. Hoping for Warriors to win once again.
