@Fruit Basket No matter what your eye color is, chances are there are tons of people with that eye color, so you don't own any eye color, therefore she isn't "taking" your eye color. Also, with the "people of color" thing, I know several African American people who were born with naturally blue/green/hazel eyes. The fact that you would say that people of color can't have a specific eye color really triggers me, because it's 1) untrue and 2) discriminating. Also, if you want to wear an afro, go ahead. No one's stopping you. Afros are a traditionally Black hairstyle, but any race can wear them, just like green eyes are most commonly found in European/White people, but any person can be born with them. We as humans need to stop seeing people as divided by racial stereotypes but rather as the beautifully unique individuals that we are.

The blue-eyed young lady had the most natural look because its easier to make light eyes darker, than it is to make dark eyes light. She also had the most appealing transformation, imo, because the dark eyes added depth to her look, less washed out for some reason. I think it gave her look, personality...a boost and nice contrast with her light-colored locks and skin.

changes are definitely needed by all of us and eye color is not one of them. being a little kinder to others, changing your attitude that's likeable, or even being happy with you is what matters.

I'm so thankful I've been given 2 eyes to see regardless of their color. My observation is those who have light eyes have no eyebrows or really thin eyebrows and those who have dark eyes have really thick eyebrows.

I have hazel eyes, depending on the light they might look more blue or they might look more green, in sunlight they look more green and in darker lighting they look more blue.

I would either want dark brown eyes or blue grey eyes... I currently have hazel/green eyes and I'm neutral with them.

I always wanted angelic hazel eyes whenever I looked in the mirror I always thought if I had hazel eyes it would complete my face

What kind of brown are they? I think most people with brown eyes have darker, more monotone eyes (as in, they don’t have a darker ring around them or patches of lighter/darker brown), which make them think they’re boring. I don’t see anything wrong them. I think they’re quite pretty. It’s just that I’ve noticed that people who like their brown eyes have more of the “caucasian brown”.

Scarcity creates value... nothing beats light eyes. And light eyed people should learn that and be grateful for their eye colour. Its a rare thing there for is valuable. 80% of the planet has dark eyes.

Calling someone, who is obviously black, black is not offensive. It's stating the obvious. It's like saying, "I am white, therefore I am white." We know she's black, and that's okay.
