They were in the 250s when I actually was able to start watching the sport for myself and not just catching the rare race on cable that I didn’t have growing up where stew was my favorite being from fl. But I’m all about these brothers, that’s what it’s all about as a dad with boys who are close I can only hope they find something that drives them to achieve their greatness.

I think what sucked about Jett’s 2023 perfect season the most is that we just had that Eli - Chase slugfest in 2022, probably the best season of racing we’ve had in the last 15-20 years. And then Eli tears his Achilles in SX, Chase gets hurt after rd 1 and a bunch of other factory riders go out with injury. It felt like we got robbed of what we thought would be a 3-rider battle for the championship in 2023 and Jett just swept the floor and ran away with the perfect season on easy mode. It wasn’t supposed to be like that.

But I have stayed in shape and ride a peddle assist, full suspension EMTB now, at ripping speeds. MTB trails being built, with major jumps, whoops, technical tight woods sections, climbs etc, are amazing. Watching and studying the numerous qualities that Jett has on his bike has made my riding better and better. If you ride any kind of two wheels, and you can't watch and learn from Jett... and are "jealous" of his success, you've got other problems, keeping you from your own, personal joy.

This is why I never liked this guy even though I respected his speed 8 yrs ago... always talking crap and blaming everyone for something. Not all riders at the top have career ending or serious injuries to admire. Some guys have it and some don't. Austin just doesn't have the whole package. Don't blame Jett for pretty much staying healthy and not crashing at every race. Same with RC, RV, James, McGrath, Tomac.. You are going to have guys in every sport that just don't get hurt that much. Thats just the way it its.

Plain and simple, hes an outsider dominating a sport that is run out if the USA, with USA biased media thats setting up the narrative that hes some young punk. Hes as humble as he needs to be. Hes super skilled. Hes young. I can see the American fans, famous for following winners blindly, being led away from their better instincts by a media that plays up any conflict that arises to the Nth degree. They want to rattle him and out him off his game. Its pretty easy to see, the tone of RC especially when discussing Jett is somewhere in between disinterested and dismissive of him. He seems more excited about Hunter. Something about Jett threatens RC. Maybe its the prospect of being pushed down the all time lists that hes on top of.😊😊

Most really good riders have problem with a certain percent of fans. Especially when you make it look easy. I sure it has not been that easy as Jett and other great riders through the years. Jett definitely has some real riding skills. But guys like Hannah, Johnson, Carmichael and Jett were not liked by all fans. Sometimes fans can really turn on them.

Bucket of crabs analogy. Jett climbs to the top of the bucket and gets out by working his butt off and the people who won't work as hard or take the risks that he has taken reach up and try to drag him down to their level because of their own insecurity and lack of discipline etc. "Hurt" people hurt people. Get help so you don't continue to be a hurt person...then you'll be free from the garbage mentality that seeks to justify your own inadequacies by tearing others down.

Jason would be a better rider with better results if he changed his attitude (problems with Stewart, Barcia then pretends it was them) if he didn't get bogged down trying to clean people out and just focus on winning

I don’t understand the hate. On Jett or Deegan. But to be honest, idc to watch 450s “premier class”. All I wanna see is the 250s. So much more battles. We know Jett, Hunter, Chase is going to winning every race. It’s just not exciting as the 250s. To be clear, I still watch 450s, it is what it is

I have no issues with Jett. But the media and fans saying he’ll be the goat before he swung a leg over a 450 was annoying.

Nothing against this kid but he clearly vented when making that hypothetical scenario about someone scrubbing shit for 3 years, and the way he struggles to avoid calling Jett great, amazing or awesome, but instead choosing "good" it's called envy, but can also be called anger over losing hope, and having a shitty time coming to terms that with this guy on the picture his chances are now gone plain and simple. He had his time and didn't capitalized just like KR, and everyone else hating hard on the kid, it ain't his fault this dudes ain't at his level.

He can’t help been that good, his full process from amateur to where he is now.. Him and his family have sacrificed more than most motocross riders. Come from selling their house to pay for everything and moved to the other side of the world. Unlike some new rides coming though have had all the money thrown at them..Rich parents

I think people don’t like him cause his style is boring. It’s crazy cause he’s fast but looks slow. Deegan has a wow moment at every race. It’s exciting, like when Chase came from the back and won. It was an action packed win.

Deegan will be the one guy that won’t be awe stricken over Jett winning like the rest of these dudes are. It’s like Michael Jordan when Kobe Bryant came in to the league. Everyone feared Jordan except Kobe. Deegan will be the same thing. He won’t fear Jett and will actually race Jett aggressively. Wait and see how it goes when it gets here in a year or 2.
