We are not rich by any means but we have managed to buy 16 ounces of gold and 500 ounces of silver. Ikd if that's going to be enough but we do have a years worth of food and water,duel fuel portable generator, a full house generator (natural gas)and 2 Oupes 2400 solar power generators.Defence tools and seeds to feed them. A woodstove and 3 plus years of wood. This has taken over 5 years to acquire but slow and steady is all most people can do. God bless everyone 🙏

My little grandma stood 4'11". During the Great Depression her neighbors dog got into her garden. She stuffed it into a burlap sack and tossed it over the fence. Then the neighbors chickens got into her garden. So she snapped their necks and threw them over the fence. She successfully raised 5 children on her own. Nobody starved to death during this time.

@scottsmith5426 My grandma was able to provide a really beautiful home for my mom and her siblings. They definitely had luxuries, but she was a very tough, tiny woman. I always admired her. She was tough and yet a very gentle woman with her grandchildren.

My BIL lives with me and he owns a dog and when I first got chickens, she killed one. I held up the chicken to her and I said “no.” She has never killed another chicken again. I excused the first bird because she did’t have experience around farm animals and I over bought birds knowing I would lose a few. Still, if she had kept killing chickens, she would not be allowed on the property or she would have to be penned up.

I would also add this dog had other problems before it ate the chickens. It had a history of biting people from the except I read.

Every dog is unique. Blanket statements dont apply. Some dogs, like my male pit/lab killed everything. My female Anatolian wouldn't hurt a fly. Folks no longer mind their own business.
