As is becoming so well known now Daddy Cornstar, scammers will try anything to take your money. THANK YOU for alerting everyone about these pests. They are becoming worse than mosquitoes on a summer night or flies at a BBQ! As the an Arab would say "may a thousand fleas bite them under their clothes and their hands be tied up so they are unable to scratch!".

Oh, those scammers!! I don't pick up if I don't recognize a phone number. My children know just leave a message, call back, or call their siblings and ask, "Where is Mom?"

According to the messages I get from "USPS", I must have a warehouse full of packages waiting to get the correct address so they can be delivered. I don't think I will ever know what is in those packages.

@@DianaStuckert I have a friend who recently thought he was talking with Dell support. While he was on the phone, they had taken $55,000 from one of his accounts and converted it to Bitcoin(unrecoverable) before he knew what had happened.

I hate getting those scam calls. And that's really why it's good to just have an answering machine. If I don't recognize the number I don't answer and most of the time they never leave me a message.

No DC, you are not a cranky person. You are a sweetheart. Thank you for reminding us that there's a lot of scammers out there. I get messages also from FedEx, USPS, bank, IRS and lastly , a family member is in jail and I need to go buy a gift card at target to get them out.

@@user-hi5wp9ds6o I don't answer either. They leave messages. But the one about a family member in jail says if I don't respond immediately they will transfer them out of state. No family member is locked up but in my head I think: well at least they'll get to travel.

I love how awesome all the friends and neighbors are to each other. There is only one Cornstar family!

YEP!!! I get scam calls , they want my F150....They pretend they are from Medicare , Or I was in an accident 3 years ago & they can help me (I have not been in an accident) Medicare never calls....no one is getting my F150.....The funny part is : they argue with the answering machine, why are they so stupid? They answering machine just says 'leave a message' that is all they need to know...We do love to watch your video's daddy cornstar

Same scammers here in Australia drives me nuts . If i answer i tell them to go forth and multiply

The gas rule at work was if you are driving a vehicle or piece of equipment and it gets below a 1/2 tank it has to be filled up at the end of day or whatever you stop using it. I’ve tried to teach my wife to fill up at a 1/4 tank in her personal car but it’s like pulling teeth. I’ve never understood why people run a vehicle down to empty.

Get alot of emails saying my Netflix/Amazon Prime account has been suspended or threats to delete the account due to non payment. I ignore phone calls from numbers I don't recognize. Let the answering machine take it instead. There are always those little warning signs present that they are just phishing/scamming you You always have to be on your toes, they can be pretty sneaky, and somebody who doesn't have as suspicious of a mindset as I do, just may fall for it.

I get calls from roofing companies wanting to inspect our roof. They say they are checking for hail damage. Problem is we didn’t have any hail. I have kept a list of these companies so when I need for work done I don’t call them. The best ones are the extended warranty calls. They hang up when I tell them I own a 22 year old GMC Sonoma.

When and why has our world become so dishonest. We get those type of calls all day long. We have an older couple as friends who were scammed out of SEVERAL thousands of dollars. Such a shame.

It’s crazy with scams these days…it’s bad because I have to check phone constantly when they continually call. These phones are handy, but the days off checking messages at end of day are gone.

The fovernment agency will send you a letter with an appointment date on it to get in touch with them they won't call you. It has been that way for years.

It's best to ignore all of those types of messages or calls. If you're expecting a package and are worried look up your local office for that carrier, call them and ask. NEVER give information to anyone who calls, texts or emails you, no matter how official it sounds.

WOW!!! My wife who takes care of our finances was informed that there was no funds in our checking account. This was on Friday . Monday morning I was on you tube and heard you mention the scammers . Guess what she was scammed. Thank you. Yes we were very hands on with our grandchildren . Now that we’re older (in our middle 80s ) they’re pretty much on their own but it was great.

I had the IRS call me about tax evasion and they need all of my information. I would not give it to them and they told me that they would put me in jail that an agent would be on his way. Well he never showed up and I never gave anybody any of my information I called the police department Told them what happened and the officers said that his wife was scammed like that and she knew better to do the same thing that I did don’t answer him well till next time I love your videos. Thanks for bringing up this topic! I work at a bank and it’s unbelievable how many people fall for these scams. We see them all the time. Education is the best thing.

I just heard a speech by our local sheriff talk about the number one issue in our rural county. Scammers. He said it was at least 2 call a week from people that got scammed. Last week one got scammed for $1,000, one for $7500, and one for $45,000. He said it was the number one problem here. When at all in doubt, don't fall for it, don't respond.

We have had tones of break downs this past week making hay. First I was mowing with the Deutz Allis 6275 and it got a clogged fuel filter. Then two days later I was raking and papa came in with the baler. We bought the baler brand new last year a Massey ferguson 1745d round baler. It is not tieing/cutting the mesh right and the twine arm is too long too. So we rigged it up to get us through. Then I was raking on the jd 2240 and it started squriting out hydraulic oil out of a gasket that was replaced over the winter. Very frustrating. Then the baler tractor a Deutz agrolux 80 got a flat tire. So the only tractor we had was the deutz allis 6275 and we did not even get all the hay up before the rain

Back in the day, we used to call those cold calls. You would be surprised at how many customers we would get by doing that. That is how you grow your business. It's not a scam when you provide a service and take care of your customers.

Those IRS scammers that say they can fix your credit issues are bankruptcy people, they get paid by your declarations of credit counselling or bankruptcy, vile creatures.

I have been getting those tax scam calls also lately. Funny thing is my phone never rings but somehow i have a voicemail out of nowhere

I like having fun at their expense. When they call I will say something like "Okay I hid the body, now what? “ or" Eastern Union Anti Fraud Desk how may I direct your call?" if you say it fast enough they don't register you said Eastern Union not Western Union.

I got that exact tax message. That one was new to me. I blocked the numbers after the calls. Bizarre

You should grease after your wash. When you wash afterwards, especially with a pressure washer, you can remove most of the lubrication you just put in. The key to greasing is to have a schedule, and to not over grease.

My grandmother had one of those calls this morning! She brought me her phone to speak with them and the person YELLED at me to give her back the phone. I don't think so!! Someone needs to do something about these phone scammers!

When you get a scam from a call or text I always block that number! Especially phone calls where there call over and over again, when you block them on your phone they can’t use that number anymore

You are Grandpa who can get away with things they don't, you will be very close, and you, Nave, and Cole will be the go to person when they have questions. My daughter didn't have the "why" stage very long. They were very chatty and would ask some rather profound questions. I would answer their questions, age appropriate. There were times, I made the decision, if they were asking specific questions, I would answer them. Now two have 1 baby each. They do the same things as I did. You may be cramped quarters, but you get to bond with the boys. You did well with your children, you'll be an even better Grandpa, and Momma Cornstar will be a fun Grandma. Enjoy ❤😊

If you don’t know how to block and delete the calls and emails and texts, contact your phone carrier. Any time you figure you are going to have to give your account number, ID information just block them. So many dishonest people.

Text messages and phone calls by cell and by home phone: Fake debt consolidation, trips to Vegas, fake offers to buy my home, fix my "Microsoft", refund my Norton/McAfee, make me pay debts I have nothing to do with - ad nauseum. That makes the legit fund raiser calls like Firefighters supporting summer celebrity sports camp and others seem untrustworthy. I bought a new home phone with a display screen just so I could see the actual number trying to reach me. Unfortunately I have medical folks trying to legitimately reach me for important purposes. Yes, it's a real crime and no they aren't just calling from India and China, We have many home-grown criminals in our country, the USA. I say this with as much Aloha as I can. DC, my default setting is everyone, unless I know them, is at best an unwanted solicitor, but most likely a scammer. My carrier has spam filters that automatically labels and, in most cases, blocks suspicious calls. By some chance a call might get thru, I don't answer if I don't recognize the number.

I got a text message from an unknown number last week that said “Do you want to go shopping tomorrow, honey?” I deleted it because it was more than likely an automated phishing attempt and replying to say “You got the number wrong.” would have only confirmed that they reached a real person. That would have just set me up for more SPAM texts. So, ignore everything unless you know the sender. Fantastic editing, Summer!!!
