    Here is a thought from an old Cowboy from Seligman AZ, carry a bottle or two of rubber cement with you. Those small thorns don't come out easy but if you lather some rubber cement over them let is set up you can peel the cement off and the thorns will come with it even the little hair ones that you can't see they tend to wake you up later in the night letting you know you missed something.     As someone who split his shin open removing a hub cap from an early model Cadillac with a pinch bar, turning aforementioned hub cap it into a projectile, and only had brown paper towels and electrical tape available...I can confirm it works great as medical tape...

    Every experienced electrician or electronic tech has patched himself up with Scotch 33+. Don’t buy the counterfeit stuff from evil-bay or amizon. Get the real deal at your local hardware store.

    My concern is letting other think that electrical tape doesn't have it's place. Automotive voltage is fine, anything larger is not.

    Matt, first of all, You have Titanium ones! I can tell Caitlyn is young by the laugh in her voice usually, but once she started Spotting, she showed absolute confidence and professionalism! And Jake sitting on the cactus after saying he hoped no one gets hurt was classic. Of course Jamie was calm and lovely as you say. Nicely Done!

    Matt is trying to preserve the nature, park rangers go "nah, just drive around". This is truly a testament on how good build the Wrecker is. I do not think the camera picked up how steep that area is.

    I think the ranger was more worried about the destruction the wrecker banging around could lead to. He also knew the vegetation they would drive over would grow back and be less risky. That’s why even said he didn’t want to tell how to do his job but also tell Matt it was ok to drive over some vegetation to make it safer for all. The rangers out here love nature just as much as Matt does.

    He didn't say it on camera but im sure that's why they started by trying to exit over the rocks blocking the path instead of going around them. Didn't want to create a viable path for people

    Katelynn is a top notch spotter. And I can say from first hand experience, she spotted me at the Off Road Games driving the Banana up Triple 7, Double Sammy and the finale up The Chute! She spotted me perfectly. I never even had to backup or re adjust, just followed her directions and drove right up that mountain without a hitch. She made a level 8 trail seem easy.

    The whole point of being a team is for everybody to learn from eachother and excel in ways the others don't. Matt is a good leader in that way, he trusts in everybody's abilities and knows how to push everybody past their comfort zone.

    This has to be hands down my favorite recovery with the Worlds largest wrecker. Not because of the danger but how this custom wrecker can walk around a mountain side like it did today! But yes there was times it was a bit scary too. Especially when Jake sat on a cactus.

    Jamie is a rockstar! She handled that wrecker in some really sketchy terrain. Seems like I remember her getting out of the Morvaire when you came to some difficulty at Sand Hollow. Now she’s handling the world’s largest wrecker through a rugged ravine! YOU GO GIRL!

    So, i really do miss some of the older crew (Trevor, Rudy, Lizzy...etc) but Jake is one of the most positive people ever and Katelynn is one of the only people more positive than him. I really appreciate the genuine smiles and one liners on a day like today.

    Wow!!! If I spell it wrong i apologize. But Kaitlin is an ENORMOUS asset! She is extremely knowledgeable and I personally don’t think Rhett or Kaulin would have gotten it handled that smooth or that calm.

    That chatterbox is actually important. Keep talking so the driver is focused on your commands and not what hes seeing and feeling. A lot of accidents happen when the driver thinks they know better and they are rarely correct.
