Saying Rotando is naive is so heartbreaking. Can you imagine the youth listening, if they think fighting big battles is a losing battle, we'll never get our land back, we'll continue living in shacks, our resources wil continue being looted, and our people will never be liberated. Most High have mercy and give us the boldness to continue fighting for our liberation in our economic, spiritual, religious, emotional and every other brainwashed mindset. Rotando needs our support and protection, MH protect and favor him always, and raise more Rotando's, especially in SA.

Yeah saying he us naive was too much, He even said "It is cute" I almost stopped watching. I could tell Rutendo got touched when he said that too. This wasn't a great interview from Pen.

This really really broke me and made me upset. In other words, he worships the system of oppression because, in his own understanding, it's impossible to break! He's as complicit and a big sellout in regards to that! Basically, he's discrediting any type of revolution toward the system.

I am only happy that there are individuals who where able to pick this up and say something. It serves no good if you call on someone to educate the youth but then call them naive infront of the same youth u wanna educate, its just pure foolishness

I couldn't believe my ears when I heard him saying Rotando is naive. Try and fail, but never fail to try, that should be the spirit. I'm very disappointed at Penuel but it's a reminder that you can respect the person until they open their mouth then you realise they're not what you thought they were.

I felt the same, the discussion should have been organic like the first interview where there was a flow in the conversation. This particular interview I felt as if Penuel was interjecting Rutendo so much. If there were too many points to be discussed then they would have broken the podcast into 3 parts. I have had podcasts where we do even 3hrs straight and then break it down into parts

I have been watching Penuel and I hear a lot of bitching about issues from him. You are a smart man Penuel but you belong to a clan that in the Kikuyu community we call "Bare ya Geka" which means the clan of the talkers/ naysayers. This clan has no race or gender, it is a clan of people who complain and point out problems and debate about them with great ideas but never get out of their comfort zone to actually act on those plans. Rutendo is a practical example of taking action and not just bitching about problems. I thank you Penuel for bringing this man to your show coz now we can see a man of action. Honestly I have learned the most I have ever learned about Zimbabwe from these two podcasts you have had with Rutendo. Looking forward to more podcasts and kindly in the next one let Rutendo speak without constantly interjecting him. This one you ended up being as annoying as Piers Morgan in his interviews😄

I have a strong feeling that Zimbabwe is the only African country that fought for its independence and carried the victory to its people. Other African countries were compromised in their 'victory' like the Rhodesians wanted to do with Bishop Mzorewa. Changing the name from Rhodesia back to original name Zimbabwe spoke clearly to the colonisers that they were no longer in charge. Keep it up sons and daughters of Zimbabwe.

It's unfortunate that Rutendo was prevented from speaking about a lot of issues, I was very keen to hear about the issues pertaining the Economy and also a follow up on the last episode especially with the Congo war now on the verge of starting again and especially with what seems to be a repeat of the 2000s war where Zimbabwe intervention saved Congo and I wanted to hear what has been the take of Zimbabwean government with regards to the issues he raised about governments allegedly funding instability in the Congo ,I heard him mention about that but he was not able to go in detail and wanted hear about Chris Hani's killer's parole and also other issues ,Perhaps Penuel should allow guests to flow and communicate to us the listeners yes Penuel is very knowledgeable but it would have been good to hear a lot of issues there was a lot of interjections from Penuel and Rutendo was not able to dwell deeper into the issues for example seven companies that controls the JOHANNESBURG Stock Exchange and wanted hear a lot about the seeds ,GMOs and especially with Kenya now allowing GMO's in Kenya and wanted hear about the Agra organization and it's conference that happened in Rwanda amongst other issues. The other issue is if Rutendo comes back can he please speak on Blackrock and other companies that runs the world.

Rutendo Matinyarere, I feel deeply saddened that most of your thought provoking words and knowledge of self awareness about a world in which we Africans resides; most especially Zimbabwean nationals within the diaspora, were not fully exhausted like in the manner in which I felt you ought or should had been given enough space and room to confront at great length. As for next time, let us appeal that Panuel should provide you with at least 3 hours timespan for you to express yourself fully without reservations, interruption or interjection, for the sake of debating or crossing-points. On most issues you were cut off short with no room to maneuver therein or explain at length but we are greatful for the time and opportunity you were granted and given ... However, your intellect and wisdom is unmatched. Of all the people whom have come to this show, none has ever been more ground breaking, communicative, and knowledgeable as significant as what Lutendo has articulated, without him or his unflinching honesty and approach on critical, major issues it is to say that these other people whom had came before, would have done much injustices or at worse, impossible to explain more in detail on the Zimbabweans' issues like the way you did if granted audience to debate/observe these matters. My prayers is that, let us hope America and the world established forces doesn't come reign over you with iron rod.

The genetically engineered seeds brings back a memory that has always puzzled me, in my rural home, the community used to plant maize that had purple and red colour, as I grew up that type of maize slowly dissapeared until it is nowhere to be found. Now all the subsistance farmers have to buy seed & fertilizer from the farmer's co-op each & every year. As a result if this many fields are lying dormant & unused as the people dont have money to buy seeds to plant each & every year.

One of the biggest tragedies in the “post colonial” period (I use this term very loosely) is that these conversations should have happened decades ago. But in all fairness the locus of education was primarily held at places of higher learning, academic conventions, and etc. As a result people at the grassroots were largely on the outskirts of engagement on these important topics. Social media has really played an important role in reducing this gap, and kudos to you Pen for taking the initiative and forming a platform where we can listen, learn and ask questions. This segment briefly touched topics that require a more comprehensive discussion and perhaps each could be addressed on separate segments. Possible topics for discussion: - The challenges facing African ownership of factors of production. - The state of energy security. What are we doing as Africans to secure the production of electricity and the expansion of the grid. - Are the geographic boundaries that were dictated at the Berlin Conference still relevant? What about the possibility of a regional states? If SADC for example decided to trade in a common currency and drop borders and let’s us decide as a collective how to integrate and share knowledge, expertise and resources based on African principles. How do we get to the point of deciding for ourselves? - The issue of food security as touched in this video. How can we secure the quality of naturally produced seed? Should we ban genetically modified seed altogether? Or do we do it in measures such as heavy taxation on imported seeds? - Should we as Africa challenge the status quo on who is allowed or disallowed to develop nuclear weapons. Is it practical to think of regional ownership of weapons of mass destruction to deter those that do own nuclear weapons? Why are we trusting Western & Eastern powers to act in a responsible and benevolent manner on the use of nuclear weapons? How could we distribute launch codes among regional members as part of checks and balances? Whether we are comfortable or not with the idea of nuclear weapons, we cannot discount the benefits as a bargaining chip. I’m sure your audience can come up with other Interesting and relevant topics of discussion. Shout out to Rutendo for the knowledge and articulation he brings to these discussions. It’s inspirational and hopefully inspires a generation of critical thinkers and doers👏🏻

For those who feel like Pen has been interrupting, watch the whole series. This is more like a "tete a tete" that we simply bear witness to and learn from. Very informative banter, though serious topics, and food for thought👌🏾

I must say that the information that Rutendo, has totally changed my perspective about politics in positive way.
@Penuel,thank you my brother for the schooling you are providing on this platform. Please give your guests a chance to express themselves, do not disturb them because some vital points get lost during such.

Africa got some brains, Rutendo and Penuel are one of those.
After listening to Rutendo I feel so empowered and fearless. This is what they are talking about when they say "African child it's possible". More life Matinyarare.
Aiy aiy man!! Pen you are the host, let the guy talk.
Mr Panual What in a jungle that can kill an elephant 🐘 since you European? Not a crocodile, lion even snake. But a 🐜 one ant can bring a elephant to its knees. So don't underestimate Matinyarare. Hope to meet him. FROM Eastern Cape ,Home of Legends .
