I remember him very well during my Wits times. We stayed in the same Res - David Webster. A lot of people misunderstood and mischarged him because of what he had. I had the same thinking but untill I approached him he was totally the opposite of what most people at the time were thinking of him. He is a very nice person, you would not say he was coming from a rich family. He is a very bumble being and intelligent being. Phesheya is a great man. I wish him greatness in life ahead and may God continue keep guiding him in the right paths.

I have so much respect for this Phesheya guy. He did what every privileged 20-something-year-old would do. He made mistakes, learned, and made a 180-degree change. He made boyish mistakes, owned them up, and transformed himself into a man. Respect!!!!

This is incredible. I love the complex relationship between being self made and coming from a well established family that can provide for you. The concept of the self made looking down on the privileged yet aspiring to provide the basics for their kids. The conversation around how we manage new found wealth as a black community, how we pass it onto our kids and still allow them the opportunity to work for something. Ive looked at white kids who went to private school who do not suffer the same. Ive heard about how generational challenges faced by our parents, lead to the parenting style of over shielding their kids hence their inability to find themselves. It's a lot.

I enjoyed this conversation very much. I see many folks pointing out that Pen was disruptive, judgmental and biased - I think that's great because this is more of a conversation than an interview. I don't expect Pen to be completely impartial. His biases allow the guest to unpack their thoughts even deeper and with more clarity. Pen is asking Phesheya questions that I would've wanted to ask him and reacting the way I'd react to what Phesheya is saying. Phesheya is very intelligent, and eloquent and has impressive business acumen. I envy that. It's really dope that he shared his story.

I’m about a third through this & I’m in absolute awe of gent’s father. I stopped viewing to say just that. Deliberate, orchestrated, impactful, (sometimes) hard/tough leadership is super important if you have a certain outcome in mind for your kids. When the black nation looks at Muslims/Jews and what they do with their families, we realise that there’s had to be a roadmap and a captain/s (father/parents) to steer the family’s vessels (kids lives) to an imagined promised land. Society can’t raise your kids when you’re a present parent. Be there. They (kids) may not like it (being steered) but they’ll definitely, in hindsight, thank you for it. I actually would like to witness an interview of his father on leadership, manhood, parenting, presence (in your life, kids & spouse’s lives), money, etc. Listen I could go on forever. I’m realising as I type this that parenting is a mentor protégé gig.🤯 Enjoy this platform ket. Bangene. Msibi Boyz Worldwide. One.

Reading some of the comments here and on other episodes... I'm starting to fully appreciate why Nkululeko Nkewu and Joe Rogan don't read comments. A lot of them are ignorant, ill-informed, ppl with alternative views & most importantly, ppl who - if you take their comments seriously - would find one making the same old dry content one finds on mainstream media... and which would actually kill the flavour of who I am and how I converse with & attract people into my life. I will try harder to stay away from the comments section & focus on the work than on people's opinions... however, please keep them coming, even if I don't agree with you or like the comments... that's what makes us human... that's what makes life dynamic. Thank you for supporting the channel... we appreciate each and every one of you. 🙏🏽❤️

Penuel seems to have had pre-conceived notions about wealthy people, he was not willing to part with. His aim might have been to 'ask the hard questions', that however backfired, and instead he came across as combative, judgemental and stubborn. He wasn't in it to learn a new perspective but to confirm his own biases and essentially undermine the guest's experiences. Though, I love how Phesheya rose above all that judgement and hostility, to shine in this interview. Penuel, you need to work on your own biases and preconceptions, let the guest tell their story. Your interviewing skills lacked in this

Phesheya bro, I hope you are proud of yourself because you have SAVED many of our children's lives, as a black gen we are fighting for our kids to have that type of life but we didn't know they would face such challenges, Am sure we will cross ways, cant wait to shake your hand for this, again, Thank you bro

This was a great conversation. Relatable content. Conversations we should be having for our generation. Great platform to unpack them. Shoutout Penuel.

Well done Penuel, a great interview!! On a note of comfort: People watched the interview to the end (including your detractors...) and that alone is an achievement. Lastly, I think each interview has different strengths and weaknesses, OR then its like a Jerry Springer show a "well written script & packaged show".. which looses the authenticity. Growth is the result!! Well done!!

I was a waiter a some point in my life and I met such a guy, he'd get pleasure from just seeing me, he'd walk in the store nobody attended him but me and when I was helping him he'd wanty full attention my mangers would take my other tables and I would attend to him alone even when he came with his "girlfriends" I'd be his waiter. When he came alone he'd order a bottle of wine drink a glass and leave me a R1000 tip every single time he was in my province and he wouldn't talk much I knew he was wealthy and came from a previllaged background , but we would have general conversations and he'd leave and travel back to Gauteng only text me that once his driver picked him up and his messages would always be it was good seeing you, I'm happy I got to spend time with you etc... Until I found a partner and I couldn't entertain him anymore and I stopped communication with him and we only spoke when he was around when he left we were stagers .... Such a humble person he was then
