Pentridge Prison Tour - Where Ned Kelly was Jailed
Ойын-сауық
HM Prison Pentridge was an Australian prison that was first established in 1851 in Coburg, Victoria. The first prisoners arrived in 1851. The prison officially closed on 1 May 1997. Pentridge was often referred to as the "Bluestone College", "Coburg College" or "College of Knowledge".
NOTE: We visited the Pentridge Prison July 2023, and did one of the tours, so all of this footage was filmed by us.

Nice that they preserved this, so many old buildings in Qld are gone to be replaced with boredomsville office and apartment blocks.

what's kind of funny to see is a tall apartment building right behind a wall tower where sharpshooters used to stand, and an IGA supermarket in the main square in the middle of all the cell blocks.

It's nice they incorporated parts of the old building into the new.

once an important structure is past 100 years old, the historical society will preserve them and people can only build around them

thank you
Nice video content but I think you should give voice over a crack. Add to that a personal perspective, eg how tough it was back in the day for prisoners or perhaps how female prisoner were treated compared to male prisoners. Keep it up … a KZreadr is not made in a day.
