They wanted it to look like a formal painting, still, but so emotional from their faces. If you look closely at Scott he is almost clutching the chairs to hold his hands still. He likes to move his hands while singing. Great song. Great reaction by you. ❤

Singapore, the star vista; Wizard of Ahhs; Just some ideas from my favorites.
Kevin might be an advanced human from the future sent back to show us our potential. Or Kevin could be the DaVinci of our time. Kevin is such a true genius and a musical genius. He has so many talents in him I can't believe he hasn't self-combusted. Can play multiple instruments, sing, beatbox, write, compose, speaks multiple languages, perfect pitch, as if that wasn't enough, he was pre-med at Yale. He is also a humble and wonderful human. Maybe when he is done making music, he can become a Nobel Laureate after curing cancer and brokering world peace.

The perfect song to follow this one would be "Run To You." It's an original, written by Avi and Kevin, and has much the same sense of desperate love about it. It also has what I believe are the most gorgeous harmonies Pentatonix has ever produced, which is saying a lot.

If you are looking for a more emotional Pentatonix song watch the original videos of Imagine, and Amazing Grace. If you want to ugly cry watch their video of their original song Thank You that was released during the Pandemic Christmas of 2020, the perfect song for that year. The video was going for a portrait look so they were trying to stay still for the filming. That is why Scott was white knuckling the chair. Mitch also but not quite as much. Neither of them stays still much. Kirstie's experience in musical theater also helped with this song and video. I think Scott looks like a tall Billy Idol in this video.... Scott, Mitch and Kirsten were on an episode of Bones, so they can act. They were playing singers so it wasn't much of a stretch but still.....

This is beautiful! However I'm partial to the original by A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera. Probably because it was released during a pivotal & emotional time in my life. I loved her so much. I still do. I always will.

You can always go back ten seconds, as one of the Pentaholix it’s one of My Favorite Things. OH, OH, you gotta check out the PTX cover of that song. I noticed that Kirstie produced a harmonic overtone (5:25) I’ve never heard any female voice do it except for her. Blew me away!
