Popspring was a multi-artist concert from Japan that was televised on MTV. That explains why the quality was so excellent. Three Pentatonix original songs and the Michael Jackson Evolution in their set. Cracked (written primarily by Scott) and Water (written primarily by Kirstie) are on the Pentatonix album, but they didn't have official videos. Not many reactors do the entire set, so thank you for this!

I love their performances in this concert. "Water" doesn't get nearly enough play... it's one of my favorites from their first originals album.

This concert was so cool! I love Mitch's part in the middle of Can't Sleep Love, which is not on the album. It really lets his sassiness shine! (Happy 29th Birthday to Mitch, by the way!!)

Pentaholics love this performance b/c it’s rare to find a live performance with proper mic balancing! MTV obviously knows what they’re doing! Plus 3 of their originals IN the spotlight!! Ben Bram is a huge part of the the reason those arrangements sound SO full!! You have watched Jacob’s interview with Ben, right???!!!

There are soooo many things I love about this popspring performance but Scott basking in Mitch’s alien mode glow during CSL might be my favorite 🤣🥰

I like this version of water more than the studio version. The bass feels heavier and Mitch and Scott add little nuances to the background parts

Same, I love the recording but this performance just hits different.

A great little concert. In concerts they can throw in fun things that they didn't have on the album or in any video. They can even have whole songs that you can't see anywhere else. And of course you have the interaction with the audience that is different for every concert. All good reasons to go to one of their concerts.

Great reaction. Thank you. I'm happy that you got to see/hear Pentatonix perform 3 of their original songs and the "Evolution Of Michael Jackson" live. They are incredible. They have performed all of their Evolution Of... medleys on different tours over the years.

This concert was insane

All original songs! "Toddlertonix" were fearless!!!

Out of all these songs, only Can't Sleep Love had an official video (which is very cool, but doesn't include Mitch's rap part), so it was nice to see all these songs in a professionally filmed video. I really love the last song Water, which Kirstie wrote, and sings it so well. I saw them do Water live, and the backdrop was incredible, and when Avi hit his note as the water drops landed, the whole arena shook. Thanks for the great reaction.

The interesting thing in this is a specific choreography only used for this show. You will notice also Avi and Kevin were together for Water and that was very unusual. "Water" is Kirstin's song. She wrote it.

the second song is the only song they've ever had play on regular radio. and it even plays here in alabama. you still hear it every now and again and im sure if you request it. ofc it plays without the rap bcz they'd never allow that on regular radio, though they should!

i know you have to pause it to prevent copyright strikes but you stop it way too much and in the damndest places which make it super frustrating! this is the best sound of all live performances which i think it being on MTV has something to do with that but it was so hard to watch you stop it in the middle of the best parts! :(
