Not only do the cards describe the person holding them. They also show how each is connected to the others. When they pass the card to the next person the trait on the card is one both people share.

This video is actually how Scott came out as gay (or bi, not sure) to the general Pentaholic population. Mitch and Kirstie most likely had known for years, since they had grown up together.

BillyYSC: Don't worry about missing the signs. Many people I watch their reaction and stop and go back to listen again. Yes this review is over a year. Avi left in 2017 due to family issues and his sister was their road manager. They would fly home after ever concert and practice. If you want to learn more about PTX and even how they react around each other. PTX Official website also show their own originals as well as the many covers. They are a family so I heard Mitch met Kristen when he was 7 years old, and I have watched the video with both Mitch and Scott say they met when they were 10 years old. They did some plays and talent shows and drama club with high school. They had their original band for a while. Scott went to LA specifically UCLA and his friend Ben (mention on the Grammy awards) decided to go for the NBC show, The Sing-off in 2011. He needed 2 more and found Avi from a friend of a friend. Kevin they discovered on KZread. The reason they are so into their harmonies is they have been practicing over 20 years. Avi found Matt and knew that the new person would fit in with the band both vocally and chemistry.

Lots on Lennon fans here, I see. The original was a great song, but PTX takes it to a new level. Combined with the video it's much more moving than the original, IMO.

Don't beat yourself up for not immediately realizing the significance of the placards. I've seen plenty of reactions in which the reactors *never* understood the connection. It wasn't until Avi flipped over the placard and revealed "Jewish" that I made the connection. (At first, I thought they were all going to pass around the LGBT placard, and then Scott flipped it over to man as the word "man" was sung.) At the same time I realized what was going on, I picked up on the fact that each time the card was passed from person to person that they were showing links (every Pentaholic knows that both Mitch and Scott are gay, and the other connections are either obvious or uncontroversial) The only thing that I though was a bit sad was that Mitch only was able to "state" (via the placard) that he was LGBTQ+; Scott got two statements, and Avi, Kevin, and Kirstin each got three (although Kirstin's three were really only two, since "Latina" implicitly acknowledges womanhood). It's a very nice way of displaying the diversity of the group, without explicitly saying "Look how different we all are". I am all about understated, and they did this well, while still producing a top-shelf performance. FWIW, this was from their last album with Avi. It was released shortly before their EP, PTX:Volume IV (Classics), and there were only two other videos with Avi after this one--"Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Can't Help Falling in Love". They released two videos as a quartet--"Dancing On My Own" (which was released after Avi announced his departure from the group, but before he left) and "Away In A Manger", and then Matt showed up for "Deck The Halls" before officially joining the group in March 2018.

They didn't actually write on the cards. They were photoshopped in. If you watch the progression through the signs: Mitch is LGBTQ+, he passes the card to Scott who is also LGBTQ+ and a "man", he passes it to Avi who is a man, Jewish, and American; he passes to Kevin who is American, black, and Christian; and finally Kirstie who is Christian, Latina, and a Woman. So the pass is something they share in common, and then something unique about them, then something they share to the next person. Wonderful message.

The original song is by John Lennon, bro. You absolutely need to hear the original version because while Pentatonix is a decent group, they do nowhere near enough justice to the original. To be fair, I don't think anyone could. This version is a good one to hear the lyrics very clearly, as most of the videos of the Lennon version present the original recording, which is now over 30 years old. You gotta hear his voice, bro - there's a way he expresses it is beautiful. Great react, bro - have a blessed one.

There's this singer that maybe you have heard of him. His name is John Lennon. He sang with the Beatles and I'm not sure if you know Or are familiar with that band. John Lennon is the 1 who sang imagine.Of course I'm being sarcastic as I say this.It is July 5th 18th 2020. It's probably been 2 months maybe a little more since George Floyd was barbaric clean murdered by a police officer Wild for other offices looked on.This has set off a movement where I really hope that real change comes out of it.We are also in the Pandemic. This song is so appropriate for the time and place we find ourselves in.You're Discovery that the 1 card stands for all of us I hadn't even thought Of so thank you very much for that.

The cards represent what they have in common and how they are different yet they live in Perfect Harmony. I'm a little bothered that you call Avi Great Value Jesus. I know you do it jokingly and I'm not offended just alittle tweaked. Obviously Jesus was Jewish but he jobs not represent Judy ism. He is not a part of Jewish canon Also, Jew don't shop at Walmart. That's sarcasm. Why not call him Neiman Marcus Jesus or Tiffany Jesus. I understand where you're coming from with that nickname. I also don't think Jesus belong to an acapella group. That's also sarcasm. It was a really good reaction once you figured out the cards we're already written. And I'm not sure if you mentioned that this is a cover of John Lennon Imagine. You very well may have and I just missed it. I still love you and I'm still subscribed to you
