MV CONNECTIONS THEORY: Hotel Lobby: Penomeco is one of the many robots working at the Hotel. When a robot is broken/damaged, it is sent to the lab/bunker underneath the Hotel, and a new one is made to take its place. Penomeco has too much emotion, and thats seen as a malfunction, so he is sent underneath. Jaja: Hyanggi(the actress/VA) is a girl left behind in the bunker/lab after all of earth's inhabitants evacuated due to a huge explosion that was predicted to destroy the world. She's either the daughter of the robots' creator or the creator herself. Devastated after finding she was left behind, she believes she is alone, until she finds Penomeco is still here. They become fast friends(or more) and he finds ways to entertain the lonely girl. Eventually, however, because she is human, she dies. Whether it was by age or because she decided to check the state above ground and never came back is unclear. They seem to have tech for materializing endless pizza so it wasn't starvation. Insomnia: Hyanggi has long since been dead/gone. Penemeco, as a robot of the Hotel, cannot leave the lab/bunker, as it is against his programming. Stuck in the same routine that he developed while caring for Hyanggi, replaying the memories with her over and over. He remembers the day they talked about what they would do if they could get out of the bunker. She asked him, "Do you have any dreams too?" He didn't know how to answer, since his whole life had been set to serve customers at the hotel. And he can't leave anyway. _Or can he?_ he thinks now. Pushing against the glass that trapped and kept him complacent with an artificial reality, he fights his own program and destroys the borders. He has realized his dream. To see the world above. The real world. Taking the elevator up, he finds a flower like the one he technologically materialized for Hyanggi. But he damaged his systems beyond repair as he broke out. He shuts down as his hand touches the flower. At the end of "Jaja" however, he is seen with his robot friend sleeping on a bed in the same field outside. Perhaps another robot was automatically created after the end of "Insomnia", one that somehow retained his memories, and dragged the bed out.

자자-불면증-호텔로비 순으로 해석해도 재밌을 것 같아요! 불면증에서 밖으로 나오고 로봇이니까 고쳐져서(?) 다시 원래대로 돌아온 세상에서 호텔에 홀로 찾아간 거죠.. ‘시간이 흐르고, 돌고돌아 다시 여기에 ..., 낯설었던 이곳에 혼자 ‘ 이런 가사를 보았을때 그녀를 만났던 호텔에 다시 가서 잊지 못하고 게속 기다리는 거죠..밖에서 기다리는 사람과 벨보이 둘다 페노로 보이는 것으로 보아 로비 안쪽은 옛날 일이고 밖이 현실이며 중간중간 과거 회상을 하는 거고.. 그리고 가사에서 get over가 게속 나오는데 이제 죽고 없는 그녀를 이제는 잊고 극복하자 라는 의미가 담긴게 아닐까..라는.. 노래듣다가 과몰입해서 호텔로비 가사가 거꾸로 해석해도 좋을 듯 싶어 써봤네요..ㅎㅎ
