Did you know Hiphop artists used a lot of samples from classical music (which originated from West-Europe btw)? Would that also be considered stealing? No one was gatekeeping classical music tho and this way a lot of iconic Hiphop songs were born. I tell you this as an artist. There's no way you can be absolutely original, you'll always get inspired by someone and as long as you respect the original artist it's fine to get inspired and make your own variations. Also, don't forget there might be things you are using, wearing,... which might be originally from another country or culture.
