I feel you. He’s KZread’s grandpa.Here for all of us like a good grandfather would be.
God love Pasquale. Fresha hotta peppa. Fresha plum-ah tomata. Hotta flake hotta peppa. Now only am I learning cooking by demonstration, I'm learning a new dialect. LOL FYI....I grew up in a family of two generations of immigrants who struggled to learn English and who wound up creating their own words and pronunciations. I understood them just fine.
The trick to this recipe has to be the balance between truly ripe plum tomato sweetness and hot pepper heat. Thanks, Pasquale!
Today is my son's birthday. He was born 41 years ago on his beautiful grandmother Maria's from Italy's birthday That woman was amazing and so loved and missed. I will make this today in honor of the two most beautiful people I could have ever been blessed with in my life Thank you 💔💔💖💖🙏

Since my trip to Italy I've been looking for a simple Penne Arrabbiata. I think I just found it. All the recipes I have found had tons of ingredients and steps which was nothing like what I had in Italy. There was something so good about the simplicity of the pasta dishes that made it so good. Thank you for sharing this.

Fun fact: in Italy this recipe is Called "Penne All'arrabbiata" not "Penne arabiadah" like anglos say. The italian Of this man, I'm sorry to say it, it's terrible. 😔

@Louis Barone EVERY Chef uses canned MARZANO tomatoes to make their sauce... Show me a 'Chef' who uses a JAR and I'll show you a Non Chef. Hey Louie you still using RAGU?

Molto buono, I use a little Calabria Crushed Hot Chili Peppers instead of the chili flakes. Milie Grazie!
That's a Turkish Pepper it's not as hot as most Green chilli. I love your work guys. Cin cin
