Exactly and if you're using it for casting it makes more sense to get the Slammer 8500 which also puts out 50 lb max drag

@@jaynz247 It's not as heavy as everyone says, it's a beast... when hauling in a 700mm long Snapper it makes it so easy to wind it in compared to smaller reels

Love Penns ,tough and good price point.For panfish I use the Pursuit lll.Has HT 100 DRAG.my 9500 penn is lll generation.

Este carrete lo uso con el Penn Fierce 3 de 10 pies de alto. Si vas a a pescar en agua salada te recomiendo nylon.

I don't understand that I guess two reels is better than one but for the money you spent you could have got a nice Carnage 2 rod a Penn Slammer 3 10500 with slick braid line it seems you bought bigger reels anyway that's what I'm after

Yes I’m actually looking into getting a carnage 2 with a slammer 10,500. I just wanted to have these in my collection since they’re popular. But yeah I might get a 13 ft carnage 2 rod.
