You said you’d get a 2C (which I love and agree with). Would you move Malkin to 2-Wing or 3C? Was also disappointed to hear you’d save money next year to have the ability to take on bad contracts at the deadline to get 2025 picks. Can’t sell already. Buy whatever good players you can and go out swinging.

Any opinions on Ryan Graves and if that will be traded or bounce back?

Have to give him one more year. I would say the same thing about Smith, but unlike Graves, there's too many rumblings that Smith is not happy here. Graves didn't get that type of contract because he stinks and has nothing to offer a team. Something was working in New Jersey, so let's see if he can get it back.

This is fucked to say cause i don't wanna see Dubas deal with the Leafs, but the need to trade from the core 4 and need for defensemen, maybe Tavares for graves with other pieces obviously but those two being the main piece. Tavares in a bottom 6 role could provide a lot of needed scoring. I also deeply believe Graves will be back next year that's a really hard contract to move
