Pittsburgh Penguins forward Bryan Rust had a lot to say during a Wednesday interview with Twitch streamer Ninja and that's where Hunter and Pat start today's episode. They discuss how Rust said the Penguins would beat the Rangers and whether he's actually right about that. They also look at whether he should've said it in the first place before diving into how he seemed to take a small shot at Todd Reirden when he was discussing the power play. They also get into his comments about how he hates the Florida Panthers before moving on to discuss how the city of Pittsburgh could hopefully get a big NHL event in the future. I agree with Pat. So many times people complain about hockey players not having any personality but then when they show some people have a problem with it. Nobody has to agree with what he said but yeah we need more of this banter. It's fun. Of course sometimes you'll have to take the shame if it comes back to bite you but whatever that's all part of it. I hope Rust doesn't take it back, I hope he double downs on it lol.

Bryan Rust is one of my favorite players
I agree with Rust, in that both the Pens and Red Wings would have done better than the Capitals. It's not likely that they'd have won, but they'd have, at least, won a game or two. Based on their regular season matchups, the Rangers would, most likely, have won it in six. It would have been nice to get to reuse the memes from the last Rangers-Pens playoff matchup... "What time is it? Six past Shesturkin."

The NHL could do like the NFL does and use a neutral site, like Hawaii, for the All-Star weekend. Maybe a European city, since they have so many hockey arenas.

Yeah truthfully I don't agree with Rust at all. Watching these playoff teams and watching the Penguins is like watching two entirely different sports honestly, they're just not built like these playoff teams.

I dont think the pens beat the rangers in a 7 game series. Love the confidence rust has though. Florida has completely outplayed the rangers in this series. Florida up 3 games to 2 after last night's game. Good chance Florida when's in 6 unless rangers step it up. Dallas edmonton has been a good series. Still think dallas wins it in 6 or 7. Goaltending will be the difference. Oettinger is a lot better then skinner

One huge problem is it's not a great area around the arena for an All Star game actually surrounding are is right now quit embarrassing 19:55
