On our second full day in Queijas, we took a tour to see the city of Sintra and one of its main attractions, the Pena Palace. They’re both incredible and I’m glad we had the chance to experience them with our guide, Pedro.
Pena Palace is open every day from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. There are coffee shops, restaurants and bathroom facilities and much of the palace is wheelchair-accessible (though it can be a challenge getting up there).
