I bought the peloton bike plus and it came last Wednesday. It’s like crack cocaine addictive . I’ve all ready done 13 rides and rode it every day . As someone with cardiovascular asthma I can’t recommend this bike enough. The Apple Watch and resistance remote were enough for me to go full in with the bike plus . This channel was one that definitely helped me to understand the peloton before I went to the peloton store in SLC . Top notch info on this channel . I would say if the auto adjust and Apple Watch gym kit don’t interest you the og bike is a better dollar value . However I track my weight and all my other gym workouts with the Apple Watch . It’s nice to have the synergy of info in the apple health app . So the remote adjust when you have it turned on is nice because it gets smart as you ride and will put you in the zone without having to adjust during classes . Thanks for the amazing content/info I was addicted from the first time locking the shoes cleats to the bike .

As a previous Spinning Instructor setup is super important! I also want to echo what you said. Cool down and stretching is SO SO SO important! After my Peloton classes, I always go right into the recommended 5 minute post-ride cool down to get that HR back down to a manageable pace, and then straight into a 5 minute post-ride stretch. It helps your body and adds to your time on the bike, class history, and monthly "challenges".

I use platform pedals and ride using my Puma trainers. I got the bike + and my screen turns around and moves forward so I can do other work outs. I ride slow because I am older and I don’t give any attention to the leader board. I stretch quite a bit before I ride and after so ride or I will pay for it later in pain and stiffness.

I recommend to adjust your cleats, you want to loosen them up and push firmly with your thumb from the bottom up to place the securing nuts at the bottom of the cleat. This will help for many reason, main 2 being clicking in/out and riding on your toes instead of a penguin. Also makes it easier to tell if your shoes are shifting and when you need to readjust 👍

Another great video, Steve! Ive had my Peloton for over a week and a half now and loving it. I get on the bike every day now and actually get excited to get on it. My rear was sore so I added the Zapko gel seat cover, but I find it actually moved around a lot and was super bulky. I ended up taking it off last night, and just put a towel over top and that was much better. I think your advice about just hanging in with the seat is a solid one, as I can already notice a difference even after a week of riding 10mins a day. Your advice about the shoes was spot on too - I’n normally a women’s 9-9.5 A width, and I went with the 41 in the shoes. I could probably have gone down a size, but I think they would have been too short as I like my shoes to not touch my toes. They definitely run narrow, so although they are a bit loose on my foot, anything wider than a B would want to size up for sure. Thanks again for steering me towards getting the OG bike instead of the Bike+ - it was your other video that really sealed it for me and saved me a lot of money. Thanks again and keep up the great vids! Hope to see you on the LB! Are you comfortable sharing your LB name?

Hate on peleton all you want. It's what you put into it as to what you get out of it. Use mine 3-4 times a week. Blend in weight training, total gym and proper eating ( not dieting) and my results are awesome. At 58 I've gained muscle and energy. Again, what you put into your goals is what you get out of it. Not supposed to be easy. Time and dedication will get you results on the peleton.

Butt Discomfort is lack of riding. Riding, with any bike. Especially at the beginning of a season, which I imagine with the peloton bike - once your riding its always in season!

The one thing that keeps me from buying a Pelaton is the price... Fitdesk 3 vs Pelaton Bike+ Fitdesk $300, Fitbit versa 3 $250 VR Oculus Quest 2 $300 Supernatural Workout $100 and Conqueror / Yes Fit / Pacer challenges: $30 = $980 vs Pelaton Bike with far less features for $2600+ $39 a month

Hi! You’ll be able to use the ‘just ride’ feature if you cancel which is a blank screen with your cadence, resistance and time in show. If you want lots of variety of content in front of you, have a look at the cycling part of this review. kzread.info/dash/bejne/dWmMvNCgnJzHmNY.html

I just tried one for the first time at my local gym. It's def cool looking but honestly, I was not impressed. There is no integration on this bike, or at least I didn't find any. I was expecting it to tell me if I need to pick up my RPMs or replicate road condition feel (Hill, slope, sand, turns, etc...) like the Tour De France spin bike, NOPE! You mean to tell me people are paying $2000 for this thing when you could just get a $350 spin bike, put your ipad up and get the same experience? Mind blowing!

Hello there. I am severely visually disabled and at home most of the time. No more driving and outdoor biking out of the question. I do walk the dogs, etc, but I live on a nice hill, so getting a good run in my condition is a task. I need to get and keep my weight down. And tone up. I do have free weights and space is not limited. I've never did spin, but I ran track as a youth. Also, although I can view the monitor, it would not be very clear. Considering these variables, would you favor the bike or the tread as your choice? Many thanks!

Hi. With the bike, you are clipped in and it feels more secure. The Tread feels more free, but I find i’m more likely to miss step for instance. If you’re a confident runner with good balance, maybe either. If I had low vision, I would feel more secure on the bike I think.

@@SteveJulien much appreciated. After I asked the question, I spoke to an older cousin out of state, with his replacements. He has the original bike and loves it.vir probably makes more sense, although I'd probably opt for the one with auto adjust. Thanks again!
