I think Peloton has recently updated to auto-adjust your resistance or incline on scenic rides and runs. I think you did a great job of breaking down the differences between the platforms. To each their own!

How are the scenic offerings currently? I am about to buy a Bike + but I am wary of the lack of scenic rides and if they are adding more of those in the future.

Love your reviews so sad to see you leaving the Peloton world. I do enjoy both my Nordictrack rower and my Peloton Bike + so I see how you can be a fan of both. Still sad that you will not have any Peloton reviews 😢bye bye

Great video, thank you! I have spent weeks trying to decide between NordicTrack and Peloton and after trying a couple of the scenic rides (and only on a regular studio bike) have settled on the former. I love the Peloton studio classes, and I'll still use the app, but the NordicTrack scenic ride offering was too much to pass up.

Thanks Steve, Just bought one, being delivered tomorrow, your other videos helped convince me 🙂. Really looking forward to getting on it. Hoping the dodgy screw loose in my old broken left ankle won't put me off - but we all need something to keep us fit as we age.

I really am enjoying my S22i. It gives me the feeling that I am on an adventure in a different country every single ride. Oh and the rides aren’t easy as I thought they would be hahaha. I just wish we have more than 4 radio channels here in Canada!

Glad to help. I know what you mean, I normally go for their newer workouts to get the full 1080p. There is room for imporvement though sometimes but maybe thats the nature/pay opff for filming in a dynamic way.

Hi Steve, great video’s.. I noticed watching the S27i screen in the background that the video motion of the rider wasn’t smooth. It looks like the screen refreshes from time to time. Do you notice that when doing scenic workouts?

Thanks! Yes sometimes, it’s like a frame momentarily freezes on some rides. It’s less noticeable when riding. I haven’t noticed this on their most recent releases.

All the same reasons I bought s22i over Pelaton. Also I've had zero issues with nordictrack

I also got bored after 500+ Peloton classes. So I still use my Peloton bike but I have the iFit app on my tv. Yes, I have to kind of pick my own resistance and cadence, but I feel like I am able to do that after 500 classes (and using my heart rate and my pz zones as a guide)

Thank you so much for the great review. I have the Commercial 2450 and love it...but I am cyclist at heart. I am leaning toward the S27i. My concern is the enormous monitor. Do you find it so big that it's distracting or does it shake too much? Thanks again.

Hi Ric, I’ve got a comparison video coming out in a couple of weeks between the two bikes. The 22i is the same size screen at the 2450 so it still feels very good to use. The 27 inch screen is big, but I don’t feel like I’m missing out with the 22. The 27i wobbles a bit more but it’s not that noticeable when you’re on it. Hope that helps! Thanks! Yes, rock solid for this one and my other studio series bikes.

We are in a nightmare with Peloton, hardly used but the pedal track shifts from side to side, 3 so called technicians later it’s still not mended,customer service is horrendous, we are looking at the Nordic Track now😊

I had one bad experience with the third party tech peloton sent. But peloton refunded me an I found someone on my own. Their customer service has been great with taking care of me

I have the s22i studio bike; I was hooked after my first scenic ride. Now I have the 7i treadmill & the airglide 14i elliptical added to my home gym.. guess I’m a NordicTrack whore now….
