You and your ongoing obsession with getting into the Cecil hotel is matched by my late 90's obsession to explore the El Cortez hotel in downtown San Diego. It's condos now, but in 98/99 was completely abandoned. The entirety of Cortez Hill was abandoned. My friends and I had Victorian houses to explore, a small 3 story motel, the crazy ass art deco style parking garage which was enclosed and had a narrow sky walkway leading to El Cortez. Four city blocks just below Balboa Park right up against the freeway. The outside of the hotel was just covered in graffiti and street art. But because it had been recently purchased they ensured nobody was getting in. The El Cortez is my White Whale.

But we love music for sure! Rn we are into cultural native stuff: pow wow club. Swimming... just got back from wake boarding. I traveled a lot when I graduated high school. So we love going places. Omg. I am going through a lot. And it's a lot to handle. I'm thankful for Mike and Lauren's support... I've been in a difficult time and had to advocate for myself, to some extreme degrees. Which has worked. The reservations in Canada are not in get condition. And in addition to a health condition. I've had to stick to my guns! Now I've recovered, and I'm back to work. I got involved with the wrong type of guys, at a niave age, thinking they could change and I would support that.... I have realized if the person is not the person you need nor right for you. Well they're not going yo be. And it's not really fair to expect such things. However, I support fellowship, and that gets confusing. Needless to say, people helping people, does help! OxO
