He was an artist 🎭, a thespian, who morphed Pee Wee Herman to perfection. A one of a kind actor. 🌟A Shining Super Star. He was also gifted to perform with serious roles as in 🤯"BLOW". I mean, who didn't like him in that?!! He was excellent in that movie like everything he performed. A hard working perfectionist. Winning 15 EMMYS surely shows his Ambition, Talent and Perseverance to push on💪 towards the future and not live or dwell in the past! His arrest always angered me😡 He was arrested simply because of who he was!!! I mean, Law Enforcement👮 should have arrested EVERYONE for that matter. Honestly, who doesn't jerk off in an X-RATED movie theater?? And... The child pornogragphy, I've ALWAYS thought was a foul rumor, I NEVER believed it!!! I always felt someone was eager to destroy his image who basically had a huge headstart from the arrest, who more or less wanted to , "finish the job!!" I felt it was a jealous, a small person that started it. BUT, Paul didn't allow this. He was far too intelligent and far too talented with far too many fans that stood strong beside him, he pushed onward AND UPWARD and took us all with him, every step of the way!!! This is why I truly admired him and what I truly loved about him!!😊 Oh yeah, AND BTW, his BOWTIE was NOT an Overlarge Clown Tie AT ALL. It was a "Regular Size" red tie.🎀 Well, I'm really sad today😓, learning of his passing. I was a huge fan, as I'm sure you can tell. and I am sure going to miss him. Thank You Paul, SO MUCH, for always putting a smile on my face. Rest Easy Mr. Reuben, for today I mourn for YOU!! TODAY , Tuesday March 19, 2024, is when I learned you passed away,😢 on July 30, 2023, I DIDN'T KNOW, I just DID NOT KNOW!! This news was surely TIGHT LIPPED for his privacy and his wishes. He even was able to do even that SUCCESSFULLY!! Your legend WILL LIVE ON FOREVER and in my shattered heart.💔😢

Here in Scotland, PeeWee was an unknown to us until he appeared in a Cheech & Chong film, (can't remember which one) and because we had no prior frame of reference, we definitely didn't appreciate the character and found him grating, resulting in many harshed buzzes for me & my stoner friends. No hate for the man but I had to laugh when the narrator said Paul was supported by Hollywood VIP's including Bill Cosby. Well, I don't know about the evidence against Paul but if Bill says he's innocent that's good enough for me. Dr. Huxtable wouldn't lie, would he?

Im a big fan of Pee Wee, and Paul is very popular in my country (sorry if my English is not good its my second language and i am still learning) i dont know how true it was, but i once read an interview saying ithat he almost died once before, after contracting an illness after portraying a new character he was developing (for some strange unknown reason though, he chose to debut the character in a gay porno cinema) The report said that while debuting this new character, i assume to a test audience, he was performing his act in the gay porno cinema, for some reason, police raided the venue, and it stated that Paul, (quotte from interview) "he was so mortified at being caught, that he ALMOST DIED!." I can't remember all the rest of the interview or what happened, or even what the new character was called, but i think it had something to do withthe character being an artist of pencil drawings that he was unhappy with, and would erase them, as it also mentioned that he was "caught in the act, rubbing one out when undercover police officers entered the venue" Thankfully he didn't die from the mortification he suffered on that occasion. Also another interesting fact i did not know until researching information on Paul Reubens was the origins of Pee Wee Herman. The character, Pee Wee Herman, his full name was 'Peedophile Weedophile Herman', and he naned the character after his two favourite hobbies, the second of these hobbies was growing and smoking marijuana. I'm not sure what the fiirst hobby was though as he liked keeping that one a secret. Its unfortunate that we never got to see that movie he had signed up for in 2012 that was to star Paul Reubens, Jeffrey Jones and antipodean actor and entertainer Rolf Harris, in a spoof movie musical, a 'James Bond' parody directed by its writers, Pete Townsend of 'The Who' fame, and 80s rocker Paul Gadd who were producing, writing and directing, with Harvey Weinstein handling the casting. It had the working title of "You Only Live Nonce" but unfortunately the funding got pulled before it went in to production, this was because the movies sole financier, a Mr James Savile, passed away before negotiating the deal, halting production. Such a shame. That would havebeen Paul's big ticket back to the top. Who knows what that could have done for him.

Hello! You seem to be learning your English quite well. I live here in the states, and I’ve worked in Hollywood with writers and producers, and I’ve never heard ANY of these stories. I’m not challenging their veracity, but I can’t imagine I wouldn’t have heard a shred of something. Pee Wee is NOT a contraction for that name you mentioned. He was not at all known for being associated with pederasty or pedophilia. I can tell you, as you likely know, that the Weinstein sexual assault rumors were starting to become public, and Jimmy Saville, who is a hideous British pedophile, also had his secrets exposed around the same time. That’s likely why any film project involving these people fell through. Paul Rubens worked his way up the comedy ladder like everyone else, and he was not involved in peep shows or pornography. He was an artist, and the people who were his friends were nice, decent folks with good reputations. How awful so much garbage gets written and spread around. Keep up your work on English. It’s actually not that easy to learn. Good luck.

I just didn't like some of his movie choices. It's too bad he hid his diagnoses. He needed some support from the community.

I believe the connection between DEVO and the Church of the SubGenius is generally known; however, unless you have a sharp eye you wouldn't know that Paul Reubens was also a Fightin' Doktor of the hidden Yetinnsyn race. The Dobbshead could be seen in the last moments of the introduction for the first version of Playhouse. Danny Elfman (Mystic Knights) has had his own initiation, which is evident throughout his early film, The Forbidden Zone. I suspect it was the cult connection between these maladapted brothers of Bigfoot that led to cooperation on Paul's faux children's show. The Church is small but furiously incestuous, and controls a surprising amount of the entertainment generated in this country. Keep watching the skies...

I'm having difficulty imagining what kind of behavior could possibly be called "inappropriate" for an adult movie theater... Dropping change on the floor and picking it up? But the real question is what sane adult would dream of a career in law enforcement only to realize a typical day at work is staking out an "adult" movie theater? You irritated the hell out of me, Paul, but Pee Wee deserved far better than that.

Yo this is tripping me out, and I'm not the only one... I swear this man died already like several years ago. R.I.P. Peewee. I grew up on his show... I even remember this crazy ass pillow case I had with the playhouse on it haha... But seriously this is messing with me. Anybody else have a sense of dejavu about this??? Not trying to be controversial about it, it's just strange.

interesting and sad, but for a concealed "facts" channel; you really should get your facts straight, Danny Elfman is not a rock star, he is a composer for film and television scores, he was the lead singer for Oingo Boingo, [a new wave band who achieved only moderate success] though, your narrator pronounced their name incorrectly, I will need to research to verify the other information given for my own edification, and take any information provided on this channel with a skeptical eye

Paul was my friend. I didnt get to see him much when he was actively working. However even when he was so busy working hard i always got a birthday card and a phonecall around Xmas. I feel grateful because i got to know paul that many didnt. Whenever he came back to Florida and unplugged from work he would always contact me wanting to do something. He had friends and so i did i so we always could scrape up a fun day. Ofcourse there were times in the begining we would get swamped with people the recognized him but we quickly firgured out how to stop that. :) In the end knowing him for what i do all i can say is paul has a good heart in the right place. Paul was a real true friend. I feel so sad that ue clammed up towards the end. Ill never forget our final conversation. It wasnt until after the conversation was over i put the pieces together.

I just looked it up, and google says that Paul died in September of last year,, but I'd heard that he died YEARS ago (like, over half a decade ago)... So, I guess it was either one of those "celebrity death hoaxes" when I heard it, OR it's that damn "Mandela effect" thing happening with me again. (And it WAS BearSTEIN, people!!!) 😂
