This is my favourite flamenco piece, I have heard most of the greats play it, but none has captured essence of the piece like Pedro has here. Simply superb and moving performance.

this version is calmer and you can pay attention to every detail. But the version with Tommy Emanuel is a masterpiece. how they play together is absolutely insane and the end.

no matter what song it is... spanish guitar gives the breath of mysticism, perfection and harmony to it. amazing

todos los generos musicales tienen grandes guitarristas, sin duda alguna el estilo flamneco se ciente impreso por tus manos y tu alma, me encanta este arreglo. muchos de los grandes guitarristas del rock se quedan cortos al lado de los guitarristas clasicos y los flamencos, o almenos asi lo pienzo y eso que soy rockero de corazon.

I've played guitar for 50 years. I upload lessons on Yt. I watch guitar videos every day. I just heard this video all the way through. Tomorrow I am giving my guitars away and then I am going to listen to this one more time. Then I am going out to buy a rope.

Magnifico! He extends Knopfler's already superb phrasing to the next level. All the while merging it seamlessly with the melody line. Just stunning.

Supreme Master Knoppfler would be really proud that you took this to a classical/flamenco level of supreme proportion...well done...hope Mark sees this video. Ignore the critics, most don't even know what guitaring is about and those that do can probably manage 3 chords and you would leave them at the first hurdle. Bookmarked as a favourite.

I was actually listening to the original song when i clicked on youtube and it recommended this video. As a classical/flamenco player and Mark Knopfler listener, i'm going to have to favorite this.

Indeed, Pedro Javier mastered this music and turned it into flamenco style, a real achievement to be proud off! Bow to him!

au contraire mon ami, sultans of swing was based on a spanish chord progression, so its actually the original song thats deviating from the spanish feel.
