Let's take a moment to appreciate just how great it was to hear Lee's playing in this.. particularly with the high gain!

Make a note: Lee plays best blues lick he's ever played on a Peavey High Gain monster :D

Just wanted to say it was great seeing Chapman goading Lee into playing with more and more gain. It's not often you see Lee taking center stage with the gain stuff in these little equipment jams but it was nice to see Chappers encouraging his friend.

I've got to say, I'm generally not a fan of Rob's tone, although I am a fan of him! I do understand why he pushes the mids and highs as much as he tends to, but I've always found that in these kinds of videos (no band/mix to cut through) his tone has typically sounded thin, piercing, and just too mid focused. That being said, occasionally I am staggered by the tones. The PRS Archon and the Peavy Invective 120 have given me that sense of "Holy shit that sounds badass!" Go Rob! Go Lee! Go Andertons!

I love Peavey!! Peavey rage was my first peavey amp and the first amp of many american shredders!! My second was a Peavey Triumph PAG 120 scorpion equipped!! It was my first large tube amp. Had the cops called on me a few times for that amp lol..Would love to find another one someday! Always wanted a 5150 or 6505 amp not the head i prefer combo amps rather than just the head and speaker cabinet. Much easier to carry with you to gigs and such too. I'm currently playing on the Peavey vypyr 30 amp at home. Amazing range of tones and semi affordable! Lots of presets and i really think the vypyrs can contend with higher calliber amps for the most part and holds up pretty well with drums. Great video guys thanks for sharing! Rock on!!

There is "a lot of everything in there". Peavey has always ripped the highs for me and they continue to be that. Sounded very good to me.

Just picked one of these up randomly. Heard about it, hadn't heard it, couldn't beat the price, plus it included the midi life controller. Been playing a 5150II into a 212, and 5150 212 combo together for close to a decade. This thing is now king of the stuff I own pile. No piece of gear has made me want to play as much as this has. It seems that (fan of their music or not) if Misha or Mick Thomson put their names on it, it's amazing.
