People do not understand how much difficult this song is to sing. Singing that in full voice power and with that amount of growling scream (who only Eddie has and could use properly in that song) in a middle of a full concert is almost impossible. Even at the 1992 MTV Unplugged (which in my opinion is one of the best perfomances), where they played few songs, he was struggling all the time trying to find ways to put the right notes. But back then he was young, powerful and in a good shape to give enough power to take the risk. Now he always almost sings using technique instead of voice power or maybe he would have destroyed his voice years ago. Anyway, here was a little bit down overall...

Always thought they accepted Matt Cameron to quick into the band, without an actual long audition. Matt helped them out through the tour (I think it was No Code), and they just asked him to stay permanently after that, without considering the fact that actually Dave Abruzzesse had quite a major distinction with all the other drummers and was actually a integral to the sound of the band. I respect Cameron a lot, with Soundgarden, all the albums he made with PJ, but he wasn't a right replacement.

they're are all calm 'cause they're all drunk xD
great show this jeremy is perfect

I actually liked more this performance, by the fact of the equalization and vocals, also drums however I understand that many people really felt the 92 performance.

I listened to this again The drums are so emotional, especially in the end
Why you all like to hate on Matt. The guys a great drummer. Guess you just like living in the past with the washed up Abruzzesse.
@TheNewNewfie Same. Matt isn't a bad drummer, but he's so stiff and I just really hate his style, don't think it fits well with the band at all.
Eddies looks sad...
they left their succes back in '92
😨
'92 version has more emotion
I think he just doesn't appreciate music and life as much. he won't open his mouth and sing and belt it out like he used to. It sucks now.
@Honestinhow this jeremy is the most bored, what i ever seen.
The voice is correct but not the actitud, maybe he was depressed...
They werent drunk thats the problem
Please cameron fuck out the pj drums
This the worst performance I've seen of this song, because Matt Cameron sounds like he's playing a different song!! Drummers are so crucial to a bands sound!! Unfortunately for PJ, they haven't had a drummer they've clicked with on all cylinders since Dave Abbruzese!

Youd think that the band wouldve realized that Matt sucks and got a new drummer. His drums sound awful. He plays like a robot

He sounds _fine_ earlier on in the song, but the heavy part, you know, when Eddie does his "hoo hoo hoo hoo" thing it's especially wrong. Just sounds totally off.

In order of importance in a band 1. Vocals 2. Ryth guitar 3. Drums 4. Lead guitar 5. Tambourines 6. Roadies 7. Mixing 8. Lighting 9. Any sort of mime acts 10. Bass guitar!!!! Hahaha. Our bass players Gunna hate me!!
Get off the smokes Ed.

@@Draftspike His voice started to deteriorate around 96' and got a bit whiny. He stopped singing from the diaphram altogether. He mailed this performance in. Smoking and alcohol didn't help either. 1992 voice was gold though. Gold Jerry, Gold!
don't feel a strong groove here ... the drums are too flat ... edi is also not as usual ... like just want to finish work and come home soon ... sometimes there are always bad times ...
