One of the survivors from the USS Arizona is my friend and neighbor Lou Conter. One of the very last ones. Last summer we had his 100th birthday celebration out on his front lawn. He still gets around pretty good, and his mind and memory are as sharp as a razor's edge. I hope we get to keep him for a few more years, at least!
