**UPDATE: In the video I said they were closed but they're actually OPEN!! They are located at 3671 St. Laurent under the "Asahi" sign. Still open everyday!!!

For what it's worth, I used to live in Montreal and go out late at night on St-Laurent. Have a lot of beautiful personal memories related to late-night Chow-Mein between those two restos. And this helped me make a quick receipe to bring back that love so thank you kindly.

Omg!!! I have been talking about this for years and nobody can understand the perfection of this. I literally bought the ingredients yesterday but I believe strongly that they used honey peanut butter. Because it was sweet, not tangy. This is the best comfort food ever. I can’t cook it when my daughter is around because she’s allergic to peanut butter but I can’t wait to try it on my own.

Update I just made the sauce and it's fucking amazing! Just add some sugar to the mix and it's perfect

I’ve been trying to figure out how they made that sauce for over ten years now. I knew it wasn’t just peanut butter, even though the guy that worked there always said it was. Thanks for cracking this mystery. Will give this a try.
