Thanks Tom!!! This is great and very useful to learn Modern Fresh British English. I had had a fast learning English course while being in England and Wales recently. BTW my boyfriend is English and he speaks with a cockney accent. Ive learnt RP English and though I didn't have problems to communicate with people, it was hard to get all the different ways of speaking. I wish I could have known much more about the different accents in Britain. But I love learning with you and my boyfriend. Thanks a lot and I hope to keep on learning. Regards

Treacle, with that hat you are very cool 👍.....I like ya 😃 (I also have one of the same type that I wear sometimes in winter 😀). Very interesting accent lesson as always, many thanks Tom. One of my favourite English teachers (JP Sloan) is from Birmingham but he doesn't speak with this accent....probably not when he speaks publicly 🙂

This is excellent stuff! Perhaps it would be cool if you did one on Cillian Murphy's and Paul Anderson's Peaky Blinders accents and their real-life accents. What do you think?
