I was so glad I got to see both golden hours so was very lucky there with that one. Sometimes it all works out brilliantly! How refreshing to see a KZread video like this. Love that you haven’t said the location. So many places are being ruined by videos by “influencers” showing “secret locations” then the hoards come and rubbish is dumped everywhere with people showing no respect for the land. So to see this restored my faith. Glad you showed what you do with the rubbish so hopefully everyone watching understands to take your rubbish with you. Just got back from there today and I also watched the sunset last night …… though walked back in the dark to sleep in my van. Subscribed

Hi Emma!! 👋🏻 Firstly thank you so much for clicking on my video and taking the time to watch it 🙏🏼 and of course for the sub! I honestly fo appreciate it very much 😊 Yes I thought id not say exactly where it was for the reasons you said. Some of my favourite locations either hiking or on a camp were getting ruined, I noticed it even more so after restrictions were being lifted too sadly 😒 I would go back to them and find litter and things just left there. I even went back to the Lake District for a hammock camp with my friend who lives there and when we got to the location there was a big fire scar, metal grill and 2 x disposable bbqs, about 15 empty cans of cider and two tarps still attached to the trees!! We took the tarps down and put the cans etc folded in them then took them back down with us to near the car in the morning. Told the chap in a BP fuel station and asked if we could put them in the big bins they had round the back which he let us. So started off our camp being annoyed. Have also gone to some locations in the Peaks and found loads of toilet paper wedged in rocks and bottles. Just dont get it!? You'd think people would be going out to enjoy the beautiful locations and can never understand why they don't want to leave it as they found it, ot better. I always show the area where I was and try to enforce Leave No Trace as much as I can. Most people that probably watch the vids do it anyway but I just hope if someone new to this kind of thing is searching for inspirational videos they will see it and hopefully follow. Good afternoon Chris, wow another beauty of a film! Loving the teaser snippets in the intro. Sneaky Peak district wild camp, and yes absolutely amazing veiws! Loving the sunnies too, dare we say a summer vibe a foot! 😎 Good work on the location, what a cracking pitch, have to love the rock wind screen! Nice to get some time to sit back and have a sup, wont lie the flavoured IPA things freak us out lol, never tried one! Half intrigued half terrified lol 🍻🤯🤭 Absolutely loved the picth and what a perfect evening to be out enjoying the outdoors. Sleep setup and tent looking great as always, very nice! Loved the use of the stone for a cooking and food prep area, Gordon Ramsey would be proud! Loved the trig sunset, wow! That's what ita all about. Sorry for the time lapse fail, we haven't tried our yet. We use the hero 4 still for time lapse lo. Happy as larry for you mate, what a way to spend a night! Know exactly what you mean about that solitary feeling. We gave the option of camping this weekend for the first time this year I think your video has definitely helped seal that deal! 🏕❤ Loved the sunrise mate, again wow wow wow! Bit of dragons breath on the horizon too, perfection ❤🤗 Cracking footage, excellently presented and a good relaxing wild camp, well done mate, catch you soon, Ceri and Kat ❤☕🌞 we are just heading out for an evening stroll now, adios 👍 Great job on leave no trace, as always.

Hey!! Thanks so much for checking out the video as always... really glad you like it and like the teaser intro 😜 Yeah was definitely shades weather hahaha It was a real cool pitch had tracked this down on a hike before and just had to give it a blast! The IPAs are awesome haha you gotta try some of them. The flavour isnt as insane as you think still has that ale flavour lol but you can tastes subtle hints of things. Really happy you liked the set up and my little kitchen area haha. The time lapse setting on the gopro is awesome and I had it set up right. But, just left it in video mode so it recorded a 40 min video in 4K 🤣 speed it up to make a time lapse but it was horrendous. Yeah had hunted this pitch down before knew it was 'out the way' and also off the hatched area of certain lands owned by a certain estate. Really glad you liked rhe video and the tent! I also have the Helm Compact 2 so am going to be doing a video shortly on the '1' and '2' and differences etc apart from them being a one and two man. What a great location Chris. Very good spot and well hidden from the path. I think I’ll have to check that one out myself soon 👍. Love the tent by the way. Bit sad I couldn’t get one when I was in the market for a tent. Chicken Keema curry sounds right up my street, so will definitely check that out too. Great watch as always

I got the Compact 2 aswell a few weeks ago as Terra Nova messed me when back in stock so just got it before it goes back out of stock 🤣🤣 I didnt put some parts in the video like of me drooling over the meal haha but oh man, it was something else!! I was there a few nights back - actually about 50m away. Great location. Saw a couple of runners taking selfies at the trig point at 7pm, but then no one after that. With the wind direction it would have been more sheltered on the other side, but no good spot, and this side: the views!

Enjoying that mate, few beers with a view. What more can a man ask for. Great music choice aswell. I was going to get the footprint for the tent aswell but the price stopped me. I will just use the one from my naturehike vik to go under the bath tub. They know how to make extra money these companies. Looked a awesome evening and a fantastic location. Brilliant video buddy 👍

Great video, subbed, I'm thinking of getting this tent, seen great reviews on it, at the moment I have a Vango soul 200 that cost £40 back in 2016, so the helm 1 would be a great upgrade, I will be using it on Dartmoor in the highest parts up in the north

I was so impressed by it that I got the Helm Compact 2 version aswell and got rid of my other two man. I've been in some decent winds with the Helm Compact 1 and it definitely held its own, a lot more than I believe other tents in the same price range would. Haha thanks so much for clicking on my video!! Well there are Gamekeepers from a certain estate that patrol certain edges. Especially at the moment... But this location is just after their actual access land and quite hidden from the main paths / routes 👍🏻👍🏻 ATB.... Chris

Great spot that, never been there but looks great. Closest I've got is about 5k west at the castles. Mind me asking roughly where you parked? I think it can be quite cut throat round there.
