PEAK DISTRICT.. Best wild camping uk! Mam Tor, Bamford edge, Bakewell. VANLIFE UK
We have had such a great time in our self converted campervan exploring the amazing peak district. The UK has some great scenery and there is plenty of that in this english national park.
Come with us as we explore what the peak district has to offer, including a visit to Bakewell and hikes up Birchen edge, Mam Tor and Bamford edge. We also find a little place so beautiful that it rivals many of the global spots we have been to already.
Vanlife Europe may seem a long way off but maybe vanlife UK has a lot more to offer than we think! Our van build is becoming more and more worth all the work everytime we get to go out in it.
Thank you all for watching and if you want to see more of our adventures please hit that subscribe button, we do really appreciate it.

No Bakewell Tarts ? How could you not?!? I’m from Manchester, living in Northern California, and bed bound in hospital for a good three months with a totally broken ankle. Been wide awake since 4am and already binge watched three episodes…..My trip home is totally delayed this Spring and so,so appreciate and enjoy tripping in the UK and Europe with Y’all. A homesickness salve. Totally enjoyable and Thank You for the humour, information, brill music and spectacular videography. Back to the Peak District…….

Should try my small street, in a 50 meter Radius I'm surrounded by 7 rats that are totally unsocialsed and have stereotypical small dog syndrome where they bark at thin air, constantly, sound like they are being mauled alive at times... One reason I like getting away in my van, no pointless genetically engineered yappy handbag dogs/draft excluders..

I've seen Emily become more involved in the videos and Lou getting more and more professional with the editing. Now you are vlogging your travels I'm not disappointed. The shared presentation, the banter, and the humour make for great production. Thoroughly enjoyable. Hey guys, fantastic video. I started following you for your van build series but I've really enjoyed this and I'll definitely be watching more of them 👍👍. Strangely enough, the reason I have a van is for rock climbing and photography, I also fly a paraglider, so if you're ever up in the Fort William area give me a shout and I'd be more than happy to take Louise out on the rock for a couple of hours. Really glad that you've highlighted the rubbish problem, this is the worst year so far up in the Highlands and if people don't get a bloody grip and take their crap home there's a chance that roadside (wild) camping could be banned and that would be such a shame. But as well as being disgusting, the wildlife eats it so it's got to be clamped down on. Anyway thanks for a great vid 👍, I'm off to watch another van one as I'm getting ready to upgrade my own van at the moment. 😬🥺

Hi mack, you're so right about the wild camping, it will be banned in this country soon if people don't sort themselves out! Also with the rubbish, my biggest concern is always the poor wildlife 😥😥 And if we are ever up your way I will definitely take you up on your offer, sounds Awsome 😁👍

@@campervibe the wildlife up here is wonderful and easy to find if you know where to look. I get Red Deer and Pine Martin stealing my strawberries from the garden. Who knew deer loved strawberries 🦌🍓🤔 But people are now buying cheap festival tents for a weekend and abandoning the whole tent and contents when they leave. Over 50 of them at Loch Arkaig this year already and Glen Etive has been even worse. It's heartbreaking when you find the animals nibbling on the nylon and walking amongst broken glass 😢🤬 Any chance to educate people has to be taken so well done to both of you for talking about it 👍

I know, we don't follow travel beans but will check them out. The biggest issue for us is our dog, we don't want to go for a few months and then have to pay to come all the way back to get new pet paper work after brexit. Plus, em would be giving up a good job just before mass redundancy comes along, meaning in the event of another lockdown we'd be using our savings to be stationary, it's very difficult right now to make a decision. The peaks are stunning tho, we will be back and it just shows that there are many beautiful places to see in the UK 😁😁

A but further up snake pass over on the moors to the north is a WW2 bomber that crash landed there, not much left of it but its interesting anyway. Just outside Bakewell on the A6 is the picture postcard village of Ashford in the Water, blink and you miss it. Monsal head is an outstanding walk and views. You would think I work for Derbyshire tourist board.. My only gripe is there are not enough charity shops in Bakewell.... yes im taking the piss.

Sadly rubbish has been a massive problem over lockdown, which is a shame as it was never this bad before! Thank you for bringing everyone’s attention to it though, promise it’s not normally this bad. On my bucket list ! Really "rips ma knitting" the amount of rubbish idiots leave behind. Lost count of the number of times I collected emptywater bottles, strewn on Munroes, what gets me is they are heavier going up, cos full(ish) , baffles me how they can't carry it back down. I am really hoping it is because so many are out and about after lockdown , still NO excuse mind you. Anyways , stunning views girls, IIRC, there is a particular view ( photo op' ) of a style , that goes over a wall , which slopes down to the valley below ( great lead in line Lou ) been done to death , but hey ho, so have tree's lol. Agree on the yappy snappers, grrrrr. Am a day behind on vids, knackered doing the build. Carcass done for bed, kitchen area and bench seat. I've literally watched nearly all of your videos and I've been too lazy to comment previously (sorry), but I feel after watching this video it's time for me to comment to say a couple of things. Thanks for all the awesome Van Build videos, I've found them so handy, I'm still framing mine out at the moment but I keep watching your videos for inspiration! Also, I'm loving your other KZread videos, you seem look a lovely couple and it warms my hear to see you both together on your adventures. I actually live in Nottingham and I run a Peak District website with walks so it was lovely to see you sharing the beautiful spots. If you're planning a visit again then feel free to get in touch and I can share a few awesome places to hike. PS You can get up to Birchen Edge, it's a short steep hike but kids do it so I reckon you'd all be fine (yes, even you Emily). Anyway, I'll try to comment on more videos, but at the moment I'm so exhausted from van build versus life, I'm doing solo so it's tough at times but I love it.
