I am a pain patient. I am in tremendous pain 24/7. When the pain gets to be too much, I will sit on my bed and cry. My cat Kotka will come to me from wherever she is, without me calling her. She will proceed to rub on me, purr, and lick me to help me relax and calm down. She is so special.

Sorry for your pain. I have arthritis in my ankle from an old tennis injury. It flares up sometimes..My cat will lay on my foot and lick my foot and it really does feel better. Even just the soft fur touching my sore ankle and foot gives relief.. it's odd..

I have the same issue. My Nezzie has to check on me if it's pain or I'm upset she comes and sniffs and licks my face. My sister in law just had surgery and Nezzie has been sleeping up against her purring. She really is a very special cat.

I’m sorry to hear about your situation. I don’t have chronic pain, but when I am I’ll my cats come lie with me. Action is not required. Just being there already helps to feel better. We are so lucky . Love for you and Kotka ❤.

Mine owns me. I live in her home. She's there 24/7. I come to her home to eat and sleep. Maybe 10 hour, gone for 14. We coexist together. Because she can't leave to hunt, she sees me as hunting for us. I let her sniff the groceries before putting them away. Showing her I'm a great hunter. I have my job and so does she. Snuggles and cuddles, make me laugh, warmth, protection when I'm sleeping and friendship. She is not my pet either.

Our rescue cat is absolutely an integral part of the family.

My female cat interrupts my reading and jumps on my chair and then lies down on my lap and goes to sleep. I know she loves me. I tell her I love her many times a day. She makes me laugh many times a day, especially when she is hungry. She is very vocal........Sal : )

The entry about purring strikes a chord for me because after I was mugged about 9 years ago Arya was extra affectionate. She's always been an affectionate cat, but this was the first time she laid on my chest when I was falling asleep. I honestly believe it was her warm, caring presence that helped me sleep that night and has helped me recover from the trama (both physical and emotional).

Now you mentioned it... After losing my fiance with whom we raised our cat and who was always with the cat since he was disabled and always at home, since the cat was abducted and traumatized when he died when I was at work and police contacted his spiteful sister who lied claiming he was single and living alone, so cat was taken to shelter, our cat start sleeping on my chest and when I sleep on a side he sleeps on my shoulder and it is such a special feeling to have his little head next to mine :-) I suppose, comfort both ways :-) We are two left alone in this world, and probably it bonded us even more

They really do have a 6th sense. Did you ever hear the story of the cat that showed up at a nursing home and could sense when a death was near? He would get in the patient's bed and stay until they passed. Amazing. 😥

About 5 weeks ago, a hungry little cat showed up at my deck door. Her bones were showing on her shoulders and hips. I thought her tummy was enlarged because of her diet. I let her in of course and fed her. I have one other cat so I had a good supply of canned and dry food. I took her to the vet the next day and of course the test showed she was pregnant. Twelve days ago on a Friday, she wanted in my lap, as usual. She likes to be cradled in my arms on her back like a baby. She never takes her eyes off of me. I was rubbing her tummy when I noticed she had started having contractions. I foolishly thought she'd have no problem, but things progressed until she couldn't deliver the first one. She came unglued, because it was her first litter, she was in pain and scared. She went crazy, jumped out of her bed, started screaming and rolling around on the floor. I tried my best to help the baby out, but it wouldn't budge.We were Both crying. I rushed her to the animall hospital. They gassed her enough to get the first one out, but it didn't survive.😪 She was able to deliver the other 2 little girls and we came home. The kittens are doing great and she's such a good little mother. I have never had a cat or dog show such an obsession with me. If she's not nursing the babies, she wants to be in my lap or under my feet. The way she stares into my eyes is unreal. It's like she sees my soul. I love her and my other cat so much. It has really been an experience.

My kitties definitely love me. When I sat down on a couch to watch this video, one of my cats laid down next to me, her behind against my thigh and the other one sitting on my lap. They like it that I am recovering from cancer, so I sleep both all night long and much of the day. They will either lay on the bed with me or sit on one of the chairs in the room so they can be close and keep an eye on me.

I have two cats. One senior male rescue and a young female that was a gift. They both give me so much joy, and I am blessed everyday. They are both extremely affectionate, loving and are always by my side. What a wonderful life it is with our feline friends.

I love my little baby and I'm certain she loves me back. She exhibits all of these behaviors, except meowing a lot when she wants something. We have a bond where she'll look at me n go to the food bowl or she'll climb on me and rub her head on my face and I instantly know what she wants. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

My cat plays fetch with me with his toys. I run a rescue and one of my rescues gives me hugs when I get home from work. I work 2 jobs to support my rescues. Having 16 cats is not easy with a dog and rabbit. All are rescued! Rabbit was a baby someone got for Easter 5 years ago for a photo shoot and didn’t want after. She my first bun bun and she is litter trained. Taka eats spring mix, pellets and a banana every day. Love them all. Last year rehomed 30 cats.

I had to have my cat after 11 yrs put to sleep yesterday. We found her when she was a kitten. My husband passed away 1 yr ago and she has been so comforting to me during this time now I lost her. It is heartbreaking when you lose a pet...they are a member of the family!😢😢

I would love to see a video about short-tailed cats...

I got my latest cat when she was already a senior. I have had to get used to her personality (a bit more aloof than my former fur kid), but she does do most of these things with me. So I guess she does love me!

I gave five cats. Three male amd two female. All have ince been feral. My Torbie (tortoise shell tabby) does not like anyone but me. She will tolerate two of the other cats to let them sit near her but that's it. She is my personal bed time gatekeeper. She sleeps on me all night and tells me when its bed time. My other female is 6 months old and very social. My male cats are much more forceful with wanting attention all day everyday than the females.

I could not live without my baby cat she makes me happier than i could ever describe with words. When she was given to me i did not want her but she warmed my heart fast. My pretty baby.❤

My cat is an INSIDE cat so there will be NO mice or rats.

My cat has decided to sleep on me. Sometimes just beside me. He follows me around the house. He purrs frequently. He is the best stress relief in the world. He smooches my face when my stubble has grown a bit - good toy itch on/rub against! No licking & not much cuddling. He just wants to be with me at all times. He tells me what he wants with miaows & body language. It seems to make him really happy when he feels he can communicate successfully with me.

I live in a place that has many ferral cats and wanders in my apartment whenever he is close by. He is a large long hair black cat that is very smart I have not adopted him because I have allergies But if I pet him, he turns on his back and scratches me, so he doesn't love me❤❤

My cat is a rescue and a rotten egg. He pushes stuff off my dresser some mornings 4:30 a.m. he pushes stuff off my counter top. Untrainable but I love him so so much. He purrs and grooms me LOL and he comes and sticks his head between my head and neck and curls up and falls asleep. My baby boy !

My fur baby brings me grasshoppers and beetles oh and flys all the things I DO NOT WANT IN THE HOUSE and he makes sure they are still alive you know how hard it is to catch a grasshopper🤦🏼

One of our cats brings us leaves 😂 another left a,dead mouse in my wellington boot, I found it when I was trying to get my boot on! Another, because we’ve always allowed them to sleep with us if they wish, dropped a dead spider in my daughter’s ear 😂. We did have a feral cat and he would only listen to one of my children, he’d block everyone else from going upstairs and even attacked a delivery man, but as we had unused land behind our house, he cleared out all the rats. I saw him fighting with one once and it looked scary, so I thought I’m going to need the vets, but there wasn’t a mark on him. I’m sure we could tell lots of stories about our felines babies and I could go on forever! It would be lovely to hear more about others stories ❤

I'm considering doing that myself at some point. I live with 3 cats, deep bond between all of us, and I can feel how much they love me. Basically, what I would like to hear with the help of a animal communicator, are these 2 things: 1) If there is anything my cats wish me to know, if they have anything to say to me 2) If there is anything I could do better for them, or anything which they don't like and I haven't realized.

One of my 2 female cats sleeps on my chest while licking and biting my beard! She bites it and pulls as if she is combing it! The other one gets all excited to see me and falls down! She drops on her side and rolls around. They are not spayed at 7 months, but they are scheduled for a trip to the vets. I raised them both from a litter that arrived on my porch.

I always thought when a cat purrs, they’re ready to eat me.

My cats are NOT pets, either. I mean, maybe a couple of them are, but most of them are family. They love me like I am mama, and I adore and love most of them, and still like the others. Currently there are around 20 of them. Why so many? I live outside of town, and people prefer to just dump their cats out here, rather than pay for them to be fixed. Example: a gorgeous blonde kitty showed up outside about a month ago. I would guess she is around 2 years old. She was VERY pregnant. She had the kittens about a week later. They are super cute!! But oy! Getting them fixed in time is going to be a pain on MY finances. I am keeping the mama for sure tho. She really reminds me of my first kitty, who was an absolute sweetheart. 💗

My... Adoptive cats (since they are my partners originally, but now the four of us are living together, and I consider them mine) do some of these but not all of these. I feel I did earn some, by playing a lot with them and taking time to study how they comunicate. This is specially important to me with Elliot, because she is a very violent cat, she tends to scratch and at first I couldn't even pet her or be around her. But now she lets me pick her up and pet her lots. She meows at me on the mornings, she likes to eat cat grass and I cut her tiny bits when I'm making my partners breakfast. She plays with me, and sleeps by my side when I'm working. She follows me to the bathroom and watches over me when I shower (I figure she must think that the shower is some kind of torture chamber and wants to make sure I'm alright while in it). Still, she has never purr. I hope, one day, she'll purr to me.

Love your channel it gives everyone all over the world a chance to see different views on so many lives and things. I grew up without tech. I love all these different ways of connecting with humanity & the animal world. You can experience things you never can with books. Books are important but living it with actual living people

They are so much smarter and emotional than people give them credit for. I'm pushing 60 and been a "cat person" since I got a kitten for my birthday when I was 7. Since her I have had many cats I have loved. Not just mine but also cats my relatives had. One cat used to "scold" me when her pan wasn't up to standard. She would come look at me and talk until I followed her to her pan. I got the message! Lessons learned. Was in my 40s when she went into heart failure. Never cried so hard in my life on the day I took her to the vet for the end so she didn't suffer. SWORE I'd never do it again. Have two now. My black boy purrs just looking at me. My tortie girl gives kisses on my face. Boy licks my elbows, knees, etc HA in the morning waiting for DinDin. They are so smart and know so many words.
