Pavarotti is correct - the beauty of opera is not knowing if the next note will happen. But what a glorious voice it was.

I knew nothing about Pavarotti except his name..I dvrd the program and it was wonderful. I had goosebumps just listening to him and learning about his life, his personality, his troubles, his incredible talent, his tremendous generosity especially to children. I'm just sorry he passed so young. Thank you Ron Howard for this. You educated me about this wonderful talented man. ♥️

The critics of this doc say Howard did not tell all about Pavarotti. Especially the negative stuff. I have not seen it. Didn't even hear about this . But will see it. To tell you the truth . Im glad Ron took the high road. I don't want to see or hear the dirt. We all know he loved women . Probably spoiled and somewhat temperamental.so what. Being an opera star is a life of sacrifice I studied Opera myself since I was 16 Never made the Opera stage but did make appearances on TV. I have heard Enrico Caruso and the top 10 opera singers . They don't come close to him. Domingo my 2nd fav. And when Carerras made his debut he was fantastic. But his voice became ravaged by chemo. I have seen Pavarotti 3 times and the 3 Tenors at Dodger Stadium. I saw Pavarotti's last performance. From a wheel chair near the Piano He was very sick and his voice was not good. I don't know why he did this tour. He probably was contracted .There will never be another Pavarotti.why are people making a big deal that he didn't read music. Neither did Frank Sinatra. Me neither . We have the Ear. Il Maestro forever!

Steve Van Duyn Memory lane(s). I saw my voice teacher talk, in the film. Saw my teacher who sang the female lead in his last operatic performance, in the film. Saw my professor, who was the musical advisor in a production, in which I acted and sang, in Chicago. Remembered the two times at the Chicago Lyric, I saw him perform and went backstage to see him. Remember, going backstage during the construction of the opera he was in. Remember hearing him from the wings. Remember going into the costume department, who was managing the construction of his clothing to aide his; breathing, sweating, and 27" neck. Remember a girl I dated, who accompanied him, when he came to Chicago. Also, it may be Fernando, we met once. Did you work, or have an affiliation with someone at a studio or? Attend PCC, with something relative to your upcoming documentary a few years back? If you did, I'm the purchaser. I have movie, broadway, acting, studio and private performance awards and documents from the pre teens, twenties, thirties, until now. Furthermore, the real equivalent of the "Apollo Thirteen" mission. In Ron's resume. To the woman who did the re entry calculations in "Hidden Figures". Just past in June; unknown for the deed, until at the funeral service, (privately) it was passed on to the remaining sibling. The associated scientist recounted the secret of his being brought in for the emergency. After recognizing the sibling, a former NASA employee. The sibling, is a friend of mine. Fortunately, that hero and I talked briefly before passing. Another in Ron's resume. "Rush's" Niki Lauda just passed in May. I had a few moments with him at the Ferrari international competition at Pebble Beach in 94. He was roaming with Ferrari's son, the head of design, and Ferrari's Presidents International and North American. We won the international. Like to talk to you.
