Shouldn’t you draw two cards of the Kutzil trigger because of double strike? The card reads as “when ever one or more creatures with power greater than their base power deals damage to a player draw a card” and double strike has it deal the damage two times

I think yes! You would also draw additional cards from attacking and hitting multiple players :) Potential 6 cards with 3 double-strikers

I love PEDH! I think its a lot more balanced and powerful than people would originally suspect, and this video does a great job of showing that. My play group usually does 30 life so the games don't drag on too long. I have a Cadira, Caller of Small deck focused on doubling tokens turn over turn and a Breeches/DePietro partner deck focused on abusing Madness, Transmute, and Channel. Great video!

Starting at 30 would be a good idea if we do this again. Game was just under 2 hours, so not crazy long, but something to keep in mind. Very cool format!

Officially, you are supposed to start at 30 in PDH and only 16 commander damage to lose the game. That’s why Dargo is a bitch and a half, give it double strike and +1 and win.

This is an interesting format. There's a lot more interaction and tomfoolery in low power than I'd imagined.

Me and my tabletop group have been absolutely loving pdh. No kore arguing over power level. Much more meaningful decision making and less solitaire where one person is just going off. Everybody feels like they have a chance to win in pauper! It’s great!

Preston is the whole energy! subscribe because everyone needs a Preston at the table.

house rules? coz pauper EDH has a 30 starting life points.

There are so many legendary creatures at uncommon that choosing regular creatures seems wrong.

you're supposed to start with 30 life not 40

I dont know if the Ninja player knows this but i just wanted this information to be known. The creature entering the battlefield thanks to ninjutsu, “tapped and attacking”, doesnt have to hit the player you originally declared the attack towards… for example, you couldve used player 1 who is shields down and “ninjutsu in” a ninja “tapped and attacking” player 2 and player 2 cant declare any blockers since you are already passed the declared blockers step
