Paulie seems like a loyal person who will help Conor and will only use his inside knowledge ringside as the fight is happening. I am looking forward to Paulie explaining his experiences training and sparring with Conor. while commentating the big fight

Yeah I wan't to hear his feedback after all the negative things he has said in the past and now the more constructive advice or concerns he has been expressing recently, only problem is there may be non disclosure agreements preventing him from talking about what happened in camp or what he thinks on it until after the fight.. although I don't know if that applies to the fight itself meaning his commentary.

How can people keep saying he is shit at boxing? He is the best boxer in MMA with a history in boxing and one of the greatest fighting IQ's in the game he is obsessed with this stuff.. it's not that your wrong maybe he isn't great compared to top pro's but you cannot say that definitively until after the fight or there is more footage and evidence to sample, people are jumping to conclusions that because he is not a pro boxer he cannot box, though this seems obvious logic it really is not as simple as that these are uncharted waters here and is a unique situation, it is dumb to say either he absolutely "can" or "can't" box either way, what is fair is to say he is at an obvious disadvantage but we will see what he can really do august 26, saying anything else makes leaps based on subjective bias. There a lot of people on here who think they are a lot smarter than they actually are, nobody knows how good he is yet so claiming or pretending you do is just fake and idiotic. This applies to both sides, those saying he will get clowned and won't land a punch and KO'd whenever Floyd pleases and those on the other claiming he will easily KO Mayweather.

I think he's worried, maybe not about Conor, but about his inability to perform well. He's weak and he knows it. His interviews show that, he even said it himself. Now you may say he's just selling the fight, but his body language showed otherwise. He's gonna crumble and get beat.

I am an mma fan first but that is something I don't think people understand about boxing. It doesn't become easier when you take away the other weapons such as kicks and grappling. I think it becomes harder (to land punches) because you have no other weapons to close the distance and and your opponent knows that he can only get hit with a left or a right hand. You have to be tricky with your feet and feints and I don't see Connor being able to land his power shots on floyd.

Trevor D you're not just boxing, you're going against someone that gets paid millions to do it. Pro boxing's another world. Conor's going to be the weakest boxer Floyd's dealt with since elementary school. You have to respect someone that's making himself a billionaire from his hands.

I like McGregor as an act but he hasn't released no sparring footage since he sparred Chris motherfuckin Van. There's probably a reason for that... I would say I respect him for taking the fight with Floyd and stepping into boxing but name me a fighter or better yet ANY human being who wouldn't take that money? He's definitely earnt it for what he's achieved in MMA, I mean he's literally carried the UFC through it transition and he obviously knows what he's worth. talk about playing your cards right at the table.

I think another good thing about Conor training with Pauline, is that paulie has a very similar defense as Floyd has. They both have that philly shell stance, and they also are good at blocking punches with their shoulders. So if mcgregor can get a better understanding of how hard defensive shell is to crack, he won't be as stifled when he's in their trying to clip floyds chin

He talked shit about Connor then admitted he was trying to get fight himself but once the mayweather fight was signed he said he jumped at the chance to spar with Connor because this is the biggest fight in history and he wanted to be a part of it and have memories ten years from now and be able to say I was there and I was involved. Paulie only fought at 140 & 147 where he had no power, he recently retired after a knock out loss, and he’s well past his prime. If Paulie’s face is unmarked when he covers the Broner vs. Garcia fight next week, then McGregor should be worried.

Paulie M can emulate May as close as he can, it won't be exact but he can get closer than most fighters. I believe they want to see if they can even catch Paulie or if its time to withdraw before Conor embarrasses himself to the point it will hurt him in the future. Paulie is the perfect sparring boxer for him, no power, he can move like May but will it help him learn? NO. Its just a barometer, if Conor looks bad, they will either scrap the whole fight or go through with it and ride it out for what it is, a shit show and entertainment.

Conor dips his wraps in plaster of paris like Margarito, smashes Paulie up and sends him to report back to Mayweather.

connor just wants to beat Paulie up..

This sparring could be lose lose for Conor. Either Paulie whips Conors ass and jabs his eyebrow off breaking Conors confidence consciously knowing he's not ready for Floyd.....or he whips Paulies ass (which I highly doubt) and gets a false sense of overconfidents thinking "Sht, Mayweather will be easy, because I just whipped a pro boxer", then get in there and realize Floyd is levels above.

MuayTHAAAI III 😲 lomas way too big for rigo! also rigo cant take punches well, and gets rocked in sparring when guys land which is part of the reason he runs. theres footwork and theres running, footwork becomes running when a guy is moving just too move and not, moving to counter.

Jamal B not so much in his last fight, but yes when he high level boxers he runs. running is when you move just to move. in boxing its a footwork drill thats the same as a footwork drill in basketball, when your picking both feet up and sidestepping, circling nonstop and making cuts back in the other direction.

I'm a fan of Conor, but if you think he's beating Mayweather in a boxing contest, you're off your face. Can he knock Floyd out if he lands his left? Yes. But IF he lands his left. Not many have been on the good side of that "if"... 49 have tried... 100% of those failed.

Thane Kyrell fans are fans, not experts. Fans are not in the ring or on the side of the ring. Fans watch the sport, an mma fan can watch boxing and know just as much as a fan. And vice versa

Conor is going to teach Floyd how to read. Floyd is going to teach Conor how to box. Paulie is still looking for his side piece.
