A rematch in the Octagon would be stupid. Why? Because boxers aren't trained to take kicks, grapple etc because it's not part of boxing. On the other hand, MMA fighters can compete in boxing because boxing is part of their training.

Chester Buencamino they can't grasp the logic that an mma fighter that trains in wrestling could wrestle and have good shot at keeping up with an Olympic wrestler depending on how good his training is however that same Olympic wrestler wouldn't have the same "good shot" at keeping up with an Mma fighter in an mma fight. Just because boxing is an aspect of mma doesn't mean mayweather would have the same good shot jumping in the octogan seeing as he is only familiar with the taking punches and giving them aspect not kicking grappling submissions ground and pound etc. it's common sense. It's common sense that Olympic wrestlers don't get hit but I'm using them as an example of being familiar with one aspect of mma whereas mma encompasses multiple styles/forms of fighting

Paulie Malignaggi just did an interview and said the story is BS. Conor has spent the last few months training in Dublin. The knock out in sparring is alledged to have have happened recently in Vegas. It's not possible as Conor would have been in Ireland.

Bryan Snow Conor has not fought in any amateurs, much less a professional fight. He is not a contender. He only wins if Floyd is mentally or physically off that night and it's possible Floyd will be. He won't win because of skill.

The shots of conor looking like he's been knocked out were taken in the old gym in Walkinstown. SBG have moved since then and more recently still, they have built a separate unit just for conor.

the story is he was sparked out if that's the case he would most likely have a concussion witch means he wouldn't be medically cleared but it's not true anyway so not to worry

The original interview where this all came out Jesse jokingly said Brandon Rios KO'd McGregor which I thought was quite obvious. Subsequently Rios did confirm that he did NOT KO Conor or has even met him. The alleged KO or KD etc. supposedly happened in California shortly during or after Conor applied for and recieved a CA boxing license which would be a little bit more believable as he was just getting his feet wet in boxing gyms vs more skilled boxers. I haven't read the comments so if this has been mentioned already I apologize. I don't think Conor has had enough time to master the martial art of boxing more so to go up against one of its best practitioners old and out of prime as Floyd is. Yet I give him what I give all of Floyd's previous 47 opponents a puncher's chance.

Holloway is younger and is the current champion.(real champ because he is actually going to defend his belt.) 9. Marcus Brimage- Same who is this guy? He is 1-4 in UFC. and now Floyd Mayweather because Conor is obviously the GOAT....? Anytime UFC has a fighter from another country they try to "push" them much harder, as they can make shit tons more money off them compared to a fighter from USA where you really won't get many more new fans. If people like schaub says Connor's got a chance then there's a chance he got knocked out during sparing. We all know Nate Diaz isn't a power puncher but he tagged Connor and put him on roller skates. He would have been knocked out if he didn't shoot.
