True story ...a fan of his had a really bad accident at his daughter's volleyball game...he fell from the top of the bleachers...freak accident and he was put in a coma ..considered brain damaged and almost pulled the plug....but before that somehow his wife was able to have Paul Stanley come visit in the hospital and Paul sang. Not too long later He came out of the coma. It was considered miracle. The wife of that husband is my coworker. When I told her I was a huge fan of Kiss she told me her story...I was shocked...she showed me the article that was on the Kiss site...pretty amazing how music heals.

In a normal or falsetto tone where he isn't pushing it as he does with KISS, it is much better. If your voice is shot and you're trying to push a lot of air through those vocals cords, it is going to sound like utter trash. This was pretty good. This isn't going to make fat stacks for Paul though.

@@igorpodemski9596 That's one of my favorite KISS albums! I've been trying to play some of the selections on my electric violin like I am Just a Boy, Odyssey, and A World Without Heroes. It's hard without sheet music. I'm one of those who can listen to a song, then play it on my violin. KISS Alive 4 is another fave of mine with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra all in KISS makeup. They were amazing to listen to and watch and how they played with KISS was just plain awesome!❤❤

He hasn't "gotten" here - he could do this since at least "I Was Made For Lovin' You" in 1980. Remember the bridge? Remember - this is PAUL STANLEY - one of the greatest rock voices in the world! So glad he could prove all the haters wrong with this! Still love and respect, Paul!

@Laurence Pinney Even if it was corrected, he sung it almost to perfection, if not, you will hear the effect and it sound robotic.

His been singing his ass off all of his life. And his voice had been trough more than a lot. Its a joy when u follow an artist that he stills have passion to put out any material to the world. I dont care about if his voice was better before. If I am half the artist that he is at his age I will be overjoyed and very gratefull. Passion is the most important for me when following artists, and Paul has that more than most:) So thank you starchild for all the joy and passion that you have colored my life with!

Maybe his voice was better before when it came to belting out a rock song at the top of his lungs, but I think it probably sounds better now singing like this than it did 30yrs ago. It takes time to finely tune a delicate instrument.

And I didn't say that Paul would be better off without KISS. For how awesome his voice was in the 70's, etc. if KISS hadn't happened, Paul still would/could do well as a musician, singer, and songwriter on his own or with another band. He is very talented. But as we KISS fans all know, KISS just wouldn't be KISS, if it weren't for Paul, Gene, Ace, and Peter originally. All I can say is WOW! For all of those out there that say that Paul's voice is shot they need to hear this. I tend to prefer hard rock music with his voice, but this is excellent. Looking forward to the Soul Station album.

It’s not “hating” it’s the truth, Paul can’t sing the rock stuff anymore. This suits him better as long as be doesn’t try to belt.
