"Ooh Child" is very special to me, more than ever. I was rocking my son to sleep while listening to the album then I started singing along to it. About halfway through, my son's eyes open and he gave me a cute little grin. I got emotional and cried the happiest tears while the chorus played. At that moment, "Ooh Child" became my message to my son. This album is so damn good. Saw lots of live videos of the group and I am just floored by how entertaining they are. Paul has a wonderful voice and he made this song extra special for me. I've nothing but praise for Paul and Soul Station.

He is so wonderful at what ever he does I am very pleased after this last tour the end of the road tour he continues to do this

Loved this, really needed to hear it too. Life is so hard, working all the time, no vacations in 25 years, just trying to keep a home, pets, food, car for job. I keep praying things are going to get easier. I remember seeing Kiss about 30 years ago in Philadelphia. But who has money for the luxury of concert tickets anymore. When you don't have a father or husband you got to work twice as hard to survive, especially being a woman in the business world the things u got to tolerate to get paycheck, but I thank God I got what I have, so many worse off than me out there. But I love this song and Stanley did it so good. Tears in my eyes listening thinking of my life. I know God can make it brighter some day. Thanks Paul, maybe I'll get to see Niagra Falls some day, it's on my bucket list, some day ... got to sleep work in 5 hours ... God bless you Paul Stanley and your family.

Paul’s voice was made more for soul than rock anyway. He has that natural rasp which sounded awesome in KISS but made more for blues / soul

From the band to the singers to Paul himself absolutely amazing

He's earned his right to do whatever the hell he wants and lucky for us what he wants to do is really good. I've always said he's a top 5 all time rock and roll vocalist. Classic voice.

This is absolutely wonderful. Has the vibes of old school Vegas elegance. Just wow. Goosebumps all up in here.

I had no idea he had it in him. His voice is still there, stronger than ever. I always liked this song, and Paul more than does it justice. I think this is some of his best work ever.

Wow! I grew up with KISS, and was part of the KISS army back in the late 70's and early 80's. Paul Stanley did a great job on this... It's good to see him in a different light after retiring from one of the most legendary bands in history.

Same here, for me it's more personal. KISS got me through a suicidal phase in my life. I'm now 57 and starting over again. Paul has always been a fighter and it inspires me. As much as critics have attempted to douse the fires of KISS, they never will. Individually, the band members are just as potent and talented.

Ballads and crooning must be Paul's singing future, hard rock is much too straining on the vocals.

These old R&B songs are the songs that he grew up with. It's natural that he would return to this sound. After he wraps up his Kiss career, hopefully he'll put out a whole album of old school sounding originals!

No one in the rock and roll biz has worked as hard as Paul Stanley in the past fifty years. Congratulations to Paul, today I would rather see him on tour with Soul Station than with KISS, which I've already seen at least a dozen times. Love you Paul, you're one of the most inspirational guide of my life.

I joined the KISS Army in since 1977 and first heard them when my older cousin brought 'Alive' home when I was 10. And now all these years later here is Paul Stanley hitting a home run with some of the 'other' music that I grew up loving (I'm also a big Beatles and Elton collector). GREAT job, Paul! I look forward to seeing this live some day down the road when things get normal again.

Every time I hear this he just inspires me so much Paul Stanley this is such a uplifting song he does this so good I am just like I like him better doing this almost and kiss songs I don't know what to do I'm like again I'm so confused I haven't heard this in about a month and here I am again and just total awe of this man he is really awesome he can switch around and he's just a true artist love you Paul never got to meet you but I love you and adore you our birthdays are both coming up mine's January 8th Elvis Presley's birthday and yours is January 20th happy birthday

Paul is really a great artist, of course the voice of Paul with Soul Station is different of KISS but with Soul Station Paul proves us his great talent. I, as a child, listened to the Rolling Stones do songs of this genre. This reminds me of that. As a 52 year old man, and a KISS fan from the beginning, I can say it is so nice to hear SOULSTATION perform these classics. It sooths my soul. I let my girlfriend listen, she loves old Motown and R&B, she's from Cleveland, and she LIKED IT! I said "That's Paul Stanley singing, with his band, SOULSTATION. How do ya like it. She said " It sounds nice." This is a compliment coming from a black girl. She don't play. I FREAKED OUT CAUSE I LIKE IT TOO. All I can ask for is more. This will go in my collection and go into rotation in my household. It just feels good. I reccomemd this album to anybody who appreciates music. It brings back memories and it is so tastefully done that I was impressed. Five out of five STARS. 📀📀📀📀📀

I have seen many concerts , and one of my all time faves was his Live to Win concert in San Francisco ! He has a voice that was hidden behind the gimmick in my opinion. I was never a fan of Kiss, but I am a Paul Stanley fan. He was amazing to my son at the book signing at the Jewish Community Center. I will never be able to thank him enough for making such an impact on a young teenagers life, who has idolized him since he was 4 yrs old.

Wonderful, paul had that same effect on my self when i meet him as a young teenager back in 1982, he had a god-like quality.

@@chrizdean Not at all. He is singing in a more relaxed way. Unless he would try to sing I feel good or I heard it through the grapevine
