First Run Athena’s are like a beat in Teebird right out of the box. You can work them on any angle you wish. Truly the workhouse of my bag right now, for anything close to 300-325’. The Prototypes are a bit more stable. Got a 169g Big Z coming on Monday, that I’m hoping will be a hyzer flip machine.

Maybe I'm spoiled by my 11 time tee bird that's so nice at holding its lines. Also, I didn't like the feel of the athenas rim against my hand, although I do have small hands. Lastly, even if I did like the Athena more, I'd still bag the tee bird instead just cause I prefer to throw discs that have names related to birds if I can. Hope this helps ya out... oh and I never tried the first run one if i remember right so might be totally wrong. I took mine outta my bag and its somewhere in my house XD.

not much difference based on ezra's videos. Venom is mainly just an easier to find beefy force. It'd be like throwing Innova Xcal instead of just getting beefy destroyer.

My venom is actually kind of flippy. I have a nuke OS that is the biggest meat hook ever and a DD enforcer that is way more over stable.
