6 years later; it's a damn good thing he didn't take up on the offer, but this is still a goosebumps moment between two of the absolute greats in this industry's history.

Ronnie He probably wants to at a certain point, but he couldn't as of yet, maybe because of prior obligations with NJPW or other promotions, but hopefully he will eventually go to EVOLVE or even ROH on a more full-time basis and then hopefully get signed by WWE to be on NXT, 205 Live (if he's within that weight class) and then the main roster. I would really like him face guy's like Finn Balor and Neville, etc. I hope that Ricochet or Prince Puma on Lucha Underground also gets his chance with bigger promotions, starting with ROH and then NXT.

Donald Ong ok. Since you’re ignorant, I’ll say it. Nakamura is not fluent in English. AJ styles also spent some time in japan. He made it in wwe. Osprey would also make it if he can convince Vince he’s good.

I made my second year uni film about this guy. Met his family/friends. Really nice lad. He said on camera that he wasn't sure he'd make it. Safe to say he has at this point.

I was on a camera crew filming a show he wrestled on. The crowd was only a couple of hundred people, packed into a small space so it was small but lively (it was also BYOB...so yeah, lively might be too light a word lol) but he wrestled like it was in front of 10,000 people, putting on a hell of a show and doing moves I'd never seen before. He's a great performer and also a really nice guy.

Smartest decision of Mr. Ospreay's career

Someone remind Seth Rollins about this ... two full years before WWE went to get Ricochet in NXT.

K.C. Hunter I remember Seth was starting his little rants on Twitter then he went after Will. Then later Seth apologized to Will. It was said that Heyman told him to apologize. You can tell Heyman respects Will. I love Paul’s admiration for Marty and Will.

Even though he didn’t sign it, that is a helluva endorsement from Paul.

If what Heyman is saying is true then it's a no-lose situation. - Still gets to wrestle in New Japan - Still gets to work for PWG - Gets to work with Evolve - Opens doors for NXT/WWE He'd have to be insane not to take it.

My estimation of Paul Heyman, just went up tenfold. Say what you will about the guy but yes I'm A Paul Heyman guy. Congrats Will, the decision I yours and what an awesome moment.

Looking back now will did the right choice of not signing not only he did great on NJPW but he’s making waves on AEW sometimes waiting and patience’s pays off Btw look at what happened to evolve and NXT

Dude knows talent when he sees it. Even as a heel, he will compliment a face if he can see that they’ve GOT IT.

As much as it was great to see Paul Heyman recognize Wills talents, I feel like this was a slap in his face at the same time. Fuck giving him a "Evolve contract". Will should have been handed a multi million dollar WWE contract if they wanted to work with him so badly and he would have deserved it! But considering he just had a great match against Chris Jericho today in front of 81K people, safe to say he doesn't need WWE and probably never will.

It's actually a common set used in many big UK Wrestling promotions, I remember seeing it in the likes of FWA and RQW.

Everyone here is saying what a great decision he made in not signing it. Dumbest claim ever. He was a fool not to take it. Yes, yes, WWE bought out Evolve but that doesn't mean Osprey would've been required to join WWE. The contract even stated he didn't have to stop wrestling for other promotions. He should've taken the contract, taken the money, and then when WWE bought out Evolve, invoked his right to continue wrestling for other promotions and then when the contract ran out, go off and do whatever he wanted. Just a bunch of WWE hate blinding people.
