They were just 17 years old at this time. I added some soft colours to this and added a backdrop as the picture quality sadly was not great. I feel this is part of a rarely seen pop history from the 60s and so glad to be able to show it to you, Stefan sent me the remastered sound of their performance. This video was created and has been uploaded under the terms of Fair Use. No copyright infringement intended. I hope you enjoy this. I added colours to some of the footage and tried to make it clearer. In creating this video I wanted to honour Barry and Paul Ryan and remember them fondly and also continue enjoying their incredible music. They do look so very young on this clip. I love the way they glance at each other and Paul tapping his hand to the rhythm of the beat of this song. I also love how 'fairly' relaxed Barry seems, he looks as if he was born to perform. I truly love this song and this performance. I feel blessed having met these wonderful twin brothers and got to know Barry as a sunny talented singer and he and Paul will be remembered with love and affection by fans. This was arranged and produced by Les Reed & written by Les Reed and Barry Mason and was released under ' Paul and Barry Ryan ' ~Have Pity On The Boy~ in 1966 . This is a song I always loved. I created this video by using Green Screen effects. Barry and Paul were two very special men, who mean so much to many people and I am glad that they are remembered and still loved by so many fans. That was a brilliant video Tia, thank you, and to Stefan for the remastered sound. You both do wonderful work to bring them to us. It's lovely to see videos of them when they were so young, and during their early years when they were both performing together. Thank you so much for your words. I love creating these videos to honour Barry and Paul and also it feels as if I do get to spend a bit more time with Barry this way, which sounds silly but the hours I spent doing these videos, I immerse myself in their music and remember those days and it is wonderful and very emotional for me. I love this video so much as you said , not many videos of Paul so this is a treasure plus I think it shows how much Barry was enjoying performing. Even at such a young age he is the consummate performer . Barry does look happy and quite relaxed, Paul looks more relaxed right towards the end of the clip, but one thing is for sure they were both such talented consummate singers. Thank you dear Gina, this video was a touch tricky to make as it was in such poor quality and unclear, which is why I ended up using the green screen and using a sunset video as a backdrop as this made it somehow a touch clearer and more natural looking. I am really thrilled and the days spent creating this video were all worth it and I am grateful to Stefan for the great sound of this. I also have the remastered sound of the single by Erhard so I spent a bit of time trying to edit this to fit the live version , to make it look in synch and will share this in the future as well. @@andreablau4383 Danke dir meine liebe Seelenschwester, ich freue mich , dass es jetzt klar aussieht, es war ziemlich kaputt und sah sehr unklar aus, deshalb versuchte ich so einige Dinge um es zu verbessern und machte ich das Sonnenuntergangvideo als Hintergrund, denn das machte alles natürlicher aussehen.
