I remember when this song was first released, and these 'gorgeous' boys were on some kind of lunchtime show in Oxford St., London which was aired on the radio. (I think Keith (Fordyce?) was the presenter.) I was 2nd row with a friend. They were absolutely lovely boys. And this song has always remained a firm favorite of mine. (Goodness, 40 yrs ago!)

Possibly Pop Inn? Keith Fordyce used to compere that programme at lunchtime in the mid-1960s.

Their mother was Marian Ryan a very popular singer in the 50s and she was married to her producer who was their father.

Wow - I haven't heard this in a long time. I wonder if this song was produced by the same people who did "You've Got Your Troubles, I've Got Mine" by the Fortunes...

No. Noel Walker produced You've Got Your Troubles, while the producer of this is uncredited. Les Reed was the arranger of both.

Well yeah, the show was being broadcast live over the radio. But just can't remember the name of the show. And then of course the singers were miming (lip synching) to their records. And it was a very tiny stage. I used to go there a lot, but all I remember were Paul and Barry Ryan, and the Viscounts.
