Exactly I was watching another video where ppl were arguing about her not being a technical drummer.. I’m like why does it matter.. can they sing while playing, write and compose songs.. Pau does it all

@@Nolimitcam._ She can do all the "technical" drumming - she chooses not to - it wouldn't fit the band's music. The best drummers play for the song. She plays with style, power, and passion - like all the best drummers do. Spare me all that tippy-tap nonsense, I want to feel the beat!

there's a very good reason she was voted up and coming drummer. very few drummers can do what she does. she can really make you feel the song when she sings.

The girls' effortless playing skill and Pau's singing-while-drumming are the result of physical training and intensive practice. In an early interview they admitted they hated athletics at school but now they regularly train with light weights, stretching and jogging to maintain the strength and endurance they need to play night after night on a headlining tour. In Pau's case, she also practices singing while working on a treadmill so she can maintain breath control while drumming. Endurance training is important for all of them because they regularly play at high altitude when they tour Central and South America. This concert, for example, is in Mexico City which is located at an altitude well over 7,000 feet - at that altitude the thinner air results in an oxygen content that is only 75% of what is present at sea level.

There is some that Ale sings. She prefers not to take the lead but she will when Dany's Voice needs a rest. The Warning - ALE singing Hunter - Winnipeg, MB, Canada - 11/17/22

There are no songs intentionally recorded and released by the warning where Ale sings lead on any album. Ale has sung lead to fill in for Dany when sick , there is fan cams on KZread , Ale can sing but she does not have the developed singing chops of her sisters partly from not singing as much and she has stated clearly many times she does not like singing lead .

It's pretty rare to find a band with not one, but Three amazing vocalists (even though Ale doesn't enjoy singing lead) and even rarer that one of them is the drummer! The Warning are saving rock and roll!

Pau is amazing.

Ale doesn't like to be in focus, so she doesn't sing lead. But when Dany and Pau were sick at the same time and had to rest their voices, she took over a few songs completely and she did it sensationally. There are also a few mobile phone recordings of it.

Pau also does a quite considerable amount of singing on songs such as “Dust to Dust” and “Survive.” She and Dany trade off on the lead vocals in those songs. The live performances at Teatro Metropolitan are fantastic.

Ladies, thank you very much for reacting to this great song and performance. I got this reply to a previous comment I posted from warrenmccann9156 I am not much younger than you. I've been a music junkie all my life and honestly, I can't remember a band that has the energy of these girls. The pure raw talent and the enormous potential. Their fans are as charged up as those of Michaël Jackson or the Beatles. They are gonna end up legends. As big as any band out there. Maybe the biggest ever.

There really isn’t anyone in the music industry that compares to Pau. We are blessed to watch her career in real time, future generations will look back in amazement. BTW, the first thing she does when sitting behind the kit is take off her shoes. She prefers barefoot but the stages are filthy so she goes with just socks.

I caught a video a few weeks ago of them at the Whiskey A Go Go, I think it was 2017, and Pau was singing the intro to Survive and at the same time taking her shoes off. I was cracking up when I saw that.

Yes. There are a few times she can be seen wearing shoes while playing, but it's mostly socked feet. In the second Tedx they did, she's wearing heels!

Pau is the main songwriter and this has a different feeling with her singing her own song, totally different sound. Pau is one of my favorite drummers to watch, a dramatic use of her limbs.

As I gather from interviews, this is probably a song that most exemplifies what her initial "offerings" of tune ideas she composes on the piano sound like when she presents them to Ale and Dany. Then her sisters have to sort of "guide" her to "de-balladize" the tunes to be a more rock sound - with more than a bit of "conflicting opinions" in the process. 😋 But this one is pure Pau, because sometimes a ballad _needs_ to just *be* a ballad, and her sisters know when that is the case.🤘🤘

Name another modern song written where the drumming and drummer singing is the focal point driving the song? The guitars were great for 23, but they were there to compliment Pau. It’s genius and inspired. I could listen to her throaty vocal tone in almost any song and it would be better for it.

Ale has sung some songs lead over the years .Ale sung lead on the song called Hunter when they opened up for the band called Stryper .

This song always brings tears to my eyes. Thank you 🙏

There are versions of Hunter and Red Hands never fade where Ale sings lead for an ailing Dany. Last summer in Toronto she sang both in that venue. A rare treat!

All of Pau's songs are amazing! She has a couple on every Album so far, including the hit single Narcisista, sung in their native language, making one heck of a statement to those that needed to hear it. It's a total banger. She does this one (and a few more) for this same concert you just watched. It's pronounced TEA - @ - Trow, meaning Theater. Metropolitan means City. CDMX means Mexico City, Mexico. "City Theater, Mexico City, Mexico"

Pau normally takes her shoes off as soon as she sits down behind her kit. I have not seen any pro-shot videos of Ale singing as she avoids singing lead as much as she can. About the best fan shot video I have seen is The Warning - Red Hands *Ale Lead Vocals* Mercury NYC 2019 on the channel 16Lizards. They sold out two nights. The second night being the night Jason Flom, CEO of Lava Records, was in the audience.

I was going to post this exact same info. It is no doubt the most important performance of Ale's singing career. It is a turning point for them, and if a movie is ever made, or a book ever written, this cold & rainy night at the Mercury lounge has to be in it with Ale singing Red Hands at 15 (just turned), giving the team the assist they needed for the next step in their evolution, with Lava Records.

Azzhole much Robert? Ale has sang backups her entire time in the band, and has sang lead many times over the years, and continues to sing to this day. So yeah, it's part of her career, regardless if you like it or not. If I want to be a fanboy as I support this band of siblings, at 60 years old, well then that's what I'm going to do. Pau has a very physical style of playing the drums, and some how has the breath control sing at the same time.

At some point you’ll have to work through their Queen of the Murder Scene concept album live at Lunario CDMX, either one by one or as a live stream. Lulu will love it. No rush though. 😊

I am always truly enamoured by these ladies, i have no words to descibe the impact they've had on my life,but the world. Forever the queens may reign.

Besides everything else she does, Paulina manages the software on the MacBook sitting to her left that controls their click track, any backing tracks, and the videos showing behind them for each song . She used to program it all as well, but I'm not sure about that now. She triggers each new song with a foot pedal. Truly next level performers in every way.

Teatro is Spanish for Theater, pronounced Tee-Aah-Tro. Just an FYI.

We’re all hoping that Ale might share a lead vocal or take a lead on TW4 but ok if she doesn’t. On their performed but unreleased song Hell You Call A Dream (HYCAD) Ale has a counter lead with Dany for a section of the song that we’re all excited to hear in studio quality audio. To the best of my knowledge Ale has only sung lead on 3 different song titles. Her first ever time singing lead live was at the Agua Fría show singing River’s Soul. She will occasionally take lead on the song Red Hands Never Fade (RHNF) or Hunter if Dany needs a vocal break or is under the weather as they will swap those songs into that nights set list for her to sing. If you watch their VMA performances Ale’s backing vocals were very prominent and she sounded amazing in both songs but especially on More. Yes, all three can play their instruments extremely well while taking on the lead vocalist role.

and I loved Phil, but he nearly never played drums and sang lead at the same time. I did at times, but it wasn't often..... normally he played drums in the studio and then overtracked lead vocals, although might have recorded a scratch vocal while playing drums... and normally live, he'd have a second drummer doing most of the playing while he was out front. This is not me diminishing Phil Collins... he was one of the greatest drummers in the world, with chops and skills that far exceed what our favorite Pau can do.... or than most other drummers for that matter. And he's a hell of a songwriter and a good lead vocalist. But Pau is unique in her lead vocal and drumming skill....

@@don-music I would rate Pau as a better singer/drummer than Phil Collins. You said it yourself, Phil usually had a second drummer while he was singing. In his famous live "In the Air Tonight" performance, Phil only drummed and sang during the iconic drum fill, otherwise, he only sang and another drummer drummed. in contrast, Pau steps up and sings an entire song while drumming. I am a bit baffled when folks don't want to give Pau her due and admit she out performs the legends of rock.

Already been mentioned,but Phil Collins rarely sang and played drums at the same time on stage. That's why they used a second drummer called Chester Thompson to play. It allowed Phil to perform his vocal duties. Now,I'm not a fan of Phil Collins,very over-rated as a vocalist,as a drummer he had the goods,but I've seen better - especially with other bands who utilized 2 drummers (The Glitter Band/The Allman Brothers Band/Adam and The Ants...the list goes on). But for those who like Phil Collins,good on you,just not my thing.

There are no designated songs for Ale to sing lead, as of yet, we hope there will be one day. She prefers backing vocals, but will sing lead if Dany needs a break or is sick. Of the times she has sung lead in concert , there ae no pro shot videos , only fan cams. Hunter is one of the songs she has sung.

Pau’s singing in “Revenant,” “Black Holes,” and “Breathe” might be even more beautiful, which is saying a lot.

The "sleeper" track on their "Error" album. When the album first dropped,this song and a couple of other slower numbers weren't really liked by some of The Warning fans,as they shifted from their harder rock sound - but this song in particular has slowly grown on many people,it's my favorite out of all their songs,and it's the one song I think which really puts Pau at the forefront of rock ballad vocalists. This slow burner is the one I usually show to friends who've never heard of The Warning,and it's the one that gets everyone's attention for the fact that Paus singing whilst banging the life out of her drums.

Dust to Dust, The End(Stars Always Seem to Fade), Revenant, Narcisista are songs where Pau sings lead. Ale rarely sings lead. She sings Hunter sometimes. The album Queen of the Murder Scene is a concept album. Ale doesn't like to sing lead, but whenever Dani isn't feeling well and needs to rest her voice in the middle of a show, Ale steps in to sing lead in a couple of songs.

Great reaction. Pau is amazing & kills her performance here. Yeah Ale does not like to sing - I was at the Toronto show where she sang lead on two songs (because Dany was ill). I filmed them and are up on my KZread channel, they are not at this quality (obviously) but gives you a feel for her voice. Her voice falls somewhere between Dany & Pau’s in tone. I’m sure if she wanted to sing lead & trained for it she would be awesome too.

Don't look for Ale to have the lead vocal on any studio record, but live, well, the show must go on so she'll sing the lead if/when necessary.

Ale also takes lead. It's call red hands never fades, hunter. But the sound engineering is not to great

The song is called 23 referring to 2023 when Pau turned 21 and barley old enough to drink .

Great Reaction Kathy, Lulu and Donna!!! Pau is truly amazing, her talents seems to be bondless. All three have some really cool footwear, and as others have mentioned, Pau likes to play without shoes, there's even a video of her taking her boots and socks off while playing!!! Ale only sings lead when Dany is sick, and her go-to songs are 'Red Hands' and 'Hunter', both from the Queen Of The Murder Scene album. Yes their are unofficial songs out there where she sings ,The 2 songs out there are Red hands never fade or Hunter..thr sound quality is not that great but you can hear her singing and I think she's sounds great and with time and more confidence and experience she will sound even better 🔥🤘🏻⚡

Neat reaction to a great song. Pau is pretty darn awesome in taking the lead while drumming, but she also, with Dany & Ale, writes the songs. 23 is a great song with it's theme of unrequited, and possible forbidden, love. A lot of The Warning's songs touch upon some very dark themes, including obsession, and 23 with its lyrics of "constantly keep choosing pain" and asking, "is it wrong" touches on those themes.

Pau, the drummer, doesn't wear shoes when drumming.

They're just so incredibly talented. There isn't a song where Ale singes officially, and when asked she says she doesn't want to sing lead..
