The fact that this perfomance didn't land Pau full endorsement offers from every drum manufacturer in the world is crazy. I've never seen another artist more worthy. She's an absolute killer, and she'll be an inspiration to thousands of drummers - male and female alike - for decades to come.

I think after she made beat up and coming drummer for that drumming mag last year she has sponsors. They let her play both Neil Peart and Alex Van Halen kits!!! Look it up

@Anony_MouseY I know Sabian sponsors her for cymbals and Vic Firth for sticks, but I haven't heard of DW drums doing anything, and they always mention sponsors like Spector, Orange and PRS.

Fun Fact: the girls reacted to this performance and Pau couldn't believe how hard she was hitting the drums and how high she was raising her arms at that time. I love Ale's little voice and how articulate she was at 12 and speaking in English, their second language, in front of the audience. And her bass really hit hard in "Survive." She was playing intricate bass lines and going up and down along the fret board. She wasn't just playing power chords but was fingering notes. Also, her harmonizing with Paulina who is nearly 3 years older. Talent, hard word, dedication.

Apparently a record executive asked them "would you rather play pop music to 12,000 people or your music to 12?" and they said "our music to 12".

and we know how that went! 50,000+ is "just another show".

One label asked whether they wanted to play for 12k people or 12 people. Pau spoke up and said "We'd rather play for 12 people and keep our integrity than play for you."

After watching Ale's performance at this TEDx, I'm surprised that anyone would think Ale is shy. Ale is strong (the strongest of the 3 sisters, in my opinion) and full of self-confidence. Ale is reserved (she doesn't spend time talking if she doesn't see it necessary).

Articulate in a second language. Amazing to me.

I love this performance. Ale is just grooving on the bass and her backing vocals are on point. She looks like she's having a blast. Dani's vocals are as amazing as always and I just love it when she cuts loose with her guitar. Just pure skill and attitude. This is one of my favorites of their shows just to watch Pau on the drums. She's like Animal from the Muppets or the Tasmanian Devil from Looney Tunes with how hard and fast she goes on those drums. And watching her recovery when she broke a stick is just so perfect.

Their poise, talent and wisdom beyond their years at such a young age (Ale was just 12 here!) makes it easy to lose sight of the fact that English is not even their native language. Also I love how Pau makes Animal from the Muppets look fairly tame by comparison. lol She goes into beast mode on those drums!

The Warning is the hottest band going. They are 3 geniuses. They also have a wonderful sound tech and crew.

If you watch this and don't fall in love with these girls as themselves and as The Warning, I wouldn't know what to say to you.

This was the video that broke me - Pau became my favourite drummer here. She's just too much.

I love this performance, 3 great songs, and Ale talking more than ever. Pau really beat the heck out of her drums back then. Did you see where Pau broke a drum stick, and it landed on a symbol, only to be launched off later? And remember, this was 7 years ago.

This was the second year in a row that the band was invited to perform at TEDx talk. Apparently, the program was so impressed with them in 2016 that they invited them again in 2017, that speaks volumes! Good reactions from all three of you, cheers.

To bad they will not get to watch the first presentation Which was also very important. Most reactors only do this video and move on. On the first one they talk about the hard work, the frustration of recording the album and the negativity they received about forming the band.

As a massive Game Of Thrones supporter,i say: I love that little Wildling on those drums,the more i see her in action i adore her more and more. What i discovered though is that the older big sister Daniela gets,the more stunning i find her. (And for those that looks at me sideways for leaving Alejandra out of it,yeah shes cute too,i just feel awkward complimenting her too much as shes the youngest,im like Bill Burr,i freak out when they are below a certain age. But one thing is certain: This band is nothing without any of the 3 sisters! Every member brings soo much to the band,especially LIVE)

Thank you for reacting to their full 2017 'TEDx Talks' presentation. This was by invitation from the UNR community, where they were actually being invited back, having given a presentation there a year before, which had been very well received. That one is also very well worth a reaction. It is called 'Young Girls Love to Rock'.

Great Reaction Kathy, Lulu and Donna! There were recording companies that offered to sign them such as Disney and Simon Cowell, but they wanted to change the type of songs they played and the way they dressed. One executive asked them if they wanted to play for 12 people or 12,000. Pau fired back saying, if means we get to play the songs we want, the way we want, then we'll play for 12. It was with all the financial support from the early fans that helped make their first two Albums possible. 'XXI Century Blood' and 'Queen Of The Murder Scene' were both recorded independently. This was the video that sold me, and many others on The Warning... There was no turning back!!!

There's a video of them talking about general things. The subject of playing instruments comes up and Ale, I believe, brings up the fact that Pau looks like "that Muppet" playing the drums. Dany jumps in and says "Animal" and they all start laughing. Seriously that's a great honor because Animal is fashioned after one of the greatest rick drummers ever....John Henry Bonham of Led Zeppelin.

Watching this TEdX video never gets old.

This is the 2nd Ted Talk they did, after being re-invited from the success of the previous year. The change in them was drastic in a single years time. They did 3 songs with speeches between, as well in that one, held at the same college. If your not familiar with the Ted Talk series, they are extremely popular with many different guest sharing their experiences with many different topics. From Music to science, and everything between. Very educational & informative done with everyday people to celebrities. These 3 originals was an eye opener for me. Unmendable woke me up, When I'm alone lulled me in, and Survive Hooked me! I instantly fell down the Rabbit Hole and I ran thru their catalog of videos. Can you throw me a rope? I'm still down here! 🤘⚡🤘

TED talks are short speeches given by subject-matter experts in an academic situation on interesting subjects. TW were invited to give such a talk in 2016 and 2017. This one was at the University of Nevada Reno. Their maturity at ages 12, 14, and 16 is incredible. This was just before Dany turned 17 and Pau 15.

Thanks for another reaction to The Warning. We are so grateful to their parents and everyone who has been part of their team. Dany, Pau, and Ale are each blessed with great talent and have incredible work ethic to produce music at the highest level. Impossible to not have the greatest respect for them after watching this video. Rock might not be your cup of tea, but everyone has to respect them as artists and beautiful human beings.

Now Ted University probably can't afford the girls performing fee. The girls performed twice at University as young teens.

Ok, I’ll watch this another…only God knows how many…time. It’s my understanding that v and b are hard for native Spanish speakers in English and it gets Dany a couple times…lol. Trust me, you don’t want to hear me butcher Spanish. I was initially amazed at how fluent they all are in English but then I learned there story and it makes sense. Watching Pau transition from “Animal” to a technician behind her kit over the course of their videography over the years has been quite interesting. Actually watching them all improve to such a high level that they’re all at now has been fascinating. They were very good at a young age but they’re excellent now!

Ahhh, such a great presentation. Great reactions! This is how I first found them when I had seen an IG story showing Pau singing and drumming and it lead me to this TedX. Those harmonies. The energy. The musicianship at their ages blew me away. I went on a frantic binge watching everything I could find of them and became a member of their Patreon immediately. Fun Fact: This is their second TedX presentation. They did their first in 2016 and performed two originals and a cover of the Foo Fighters The Pretender. You should check that one out too!

I've seen this performance many times and my favorite is Pau breaking a stick and a piece of it lands on a cymbal, which goes flying the next time she hits that cymbal. What a badass.

Today Survive is one of their cornerstones when they play a concert. And it´s one of their greatest hits. Each time I hear and see this I start stomping my feet during the break down at the end. The song is epic, and this concert is never getting old, and it is great for new fans wanting to learn about who DPA are as persons and what they have always been. They have such integrity. When they tried to sign them and wanted to change them, The warning Walked out from the negotiations. And when they finally signed with LAVA after releasing two albums and playing numerous gigs independently. They negotiated for seven months before they signed. They got to keep their Patreon account and full control over their music. They where not young girls who the record companies could do what they want with, they where seasoned musicians knowing how the industry works. The Warning are one of a kind! Good reaction.

I liked your comments Donna on bands succumbing to pressure. A documentary about Prince shows the nature of the business to a fault. The singer Jewel turned down a signing bonus when she got her first record deal in order to retain control. Plus you have to pay it back. She was around 18 years old at the time and living in her car. She told her story on Joe Rogans show. It's on KZread still. I imagine The Warning turned down a signing bonus as well when they signed on with Lava/Republic Records. I know they retained full control of content as well as their wardrobe. Good for them! It showed at the VMA/MTV Video Awards last September didn't it? Glamorous and a powerful performance that left other record companies jealous with envy. I hope they take the time to soak it all in and enjoy it along with their family. Peace!
